The best restaurants serving Default food in Walkham West Devon South West

We had my 50th Family surprise birthday party here, the food was stunning! Great place for adults to relax and the children had a lovely time too. Really welcoming and did not disappoint! The vegans in the family were also well caterered for :)

The food was really nice n people

we visited on a Saturday tea time .The welcome was warm and our young lady that served our table was very friendly. I had the scallops for starters which consisted of 2 which were small and over done for 12 pound I thought was a little pricey .Everyone else s starter were amazing and the short rib was just wow..Our main course were mostly steaks which were all cooked over the open fire to perfection. The rib eye i had was just incredible. My wife had the vegan burger which she described as awful.the consistency was like mush and she could nt eat it .To be fair to the team they did ask if they could put this right but it it had put her off.The manager did remove the meal from the bill .So mixed emotions on our visit ,the team dealt with everything very professionally .just not a great veggie option.Steaks though are incredible 👌

We always come here when visiting family in Horrabridge. The food is excellent everytime👍

5 of us met here for light lunch only to tuck into a superb roast once we saw what good value it was! A full traditional roast with all the veg and sauces covered the plates! Vegetarian nut roast went down like a treat. Staff were very welcoming, cheerful and friendly. Swift service on a busy day. Hope to visit again.

Rubbish under cocked chips batter Like concrete wast of money owner needs to go on a cooking corse needed a good chippy in the area but not this one. Shame
