The best restaurants serving Default food in South Brent South Hams South West

There's so much on offer - everything is top quality and there's a massive variety of different foods. We shop there instead of supermarkets and particularly love the hand-crafted sourdough and the organically grown vegetables and fruit. You can also get freshly made-to-order sandwiches and fabulous coffee. Then there's the deli-counter - so much to choose from and everything at its peak quality and freshness. Store cupboard and dried foods, herbs, spices, great coffees, local dairy produce. The owner is just delightful and unstinting in his excellent customer service.

One of south Brent's little gems

Stopped by for an impromptu lunch. On a bit of a health kick at the moment and decided to try the new salmon, feta and spinach fish cakes. They were light and fluffy inside in a lightly crunchy panko breadcrumb. Along with the lentil and tomato salsa this was a deliciously filling and satisfying lunch. Service as always was warm and friendly with attentive staff happy to make recommendations. Turtley is a winner every time and deserves its own slip road off the A38!

Ordered one of everything off the menu, scranned the lot whilst my kids sat there begging for some but no way was I sharing. The food was delicious however wish the portions had been bigger as I ended up having to order twice as the first lot didn't fill me up. I did have food poisoning the next day but was worth it 💗💗💗

Awful was served a dish of slop which was named as Moussaka on the menu.Manager not bothered when I mentioned this .Apparently this was a best seller and this is how it is served.Never Again is all I can say

Booked for Sunday Roast, and we weren't disappointed. We were a family of 6 (3 generations), and all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We pre-booked our meat choices (3 x pork, 2 x chicken, and 1 nut roast) as we were advised that when busy with 'walk-ins', they may run low on some meat. Lovely, friendly place that we've been to numerous times for lunch or coffee/cake, but this was our first Sunday roast, and it won't be our last.

This is a great local place for fish and chips. Owners really friendly. Covid safe measures in place. Fish and chips were really tasty and a good price. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately we decided to order a cod and chips here yesterday evening. The batter was thick and burnt (25% black) after one mouth full that was enough, scraped it off and tried the fish and that was tasteless. So ate a few chips (fries) and threw most of it away. I wish I took a photo to post.
