The best restaurants serving British food in South Brent South Hams South West

There's so much on offer - everything is top quality and there's a massive variety of different foods. We shop there instead of supermarkets and particularly love the hand-crafted sourdough and the organically grown vegetables and fruit. You can also get freshly made-to-order sandwiches and fabulous coffee. Then there's the deli-counter - so much to choose from and everything at its peak quality and freshness. Store cupboard and dried foods, herbs, spices, great coffees, local dairy produce. The owner is just delightful and unstinting in his excellent customer service.

Love this place. Great atmosphere and the staff are very attentive and pleasant. But the other day we had lunch, and my hamburger was not great! What a shame. It was luke warm and the bacon topper was like a bit of leather. The burger had clearly not come off the griddle. And at £22 for a hamburger, they could have presented this food much better. I can understand pre cooking things due to work load, but as said, a quick minute on the griddle means the burger would come out hot and sizzling. Chips were great. So if you order the hamburger, ask for it to be cooked fresh.

Awful was served a dish of slop which was named as Moussaka on the menu.Manager not bothered when I mentioned this .Apparently this was a best seller and this is how it is served.Never Again is all I can say

This is a great local place for fish and chips. Owners really friendly. Covid safe measures in place. Fish and chips were really tasty and a good price. Highly recommended.
