The best restaurants serving Default food in South Molton North Devon South West

We were staying nearby for the February Half Term so tried this place on one of our evenings. Hit and miss reviews from our family so was unsure what star to award. Chips were comparable with our local fish and chip van in the village, not well done enough for me, very potato-y. Husband enjoyed, me not so much.

Just returned from a fabulous few nights away , the stay at the coaching inn was as always brilliant, fantastic hospitality from Jayne and the team , the food as always is great value , large portions, a range to suit most peoples tastes ( but you can always speak to Jayne and they will accommodate you ) and delicious. My Room was clean warm and cosy, with lovely en suite , a great selection of on draught beers/ lager and wines , again bar staff couldn't do anymore for you . The pub doesn't stay open as late as other local establishments , but I see this a positive, if your staying there you can have a lovely meal and plenty of drinks then retire to your room and now your in for a good night's sleep as the pubs quiet and not rowdy like other places I've stayed , and the icing on the cake for me was it's not overpriced or pretentious . Thank you so much I will be staying with you again.

I am thrilled that you are getting back up and running. I've had so many relaxed and friendly hours in the cafe with friends that I am looking forward to more accompanied by a fab nut roast and side salads fit for a queen. Airy and plenty of space (unlike other cafes that cram as many in as they can) so it feels very Covid safe even without have to make big changes.

Absolutely delicious love the egg fried rice would recommend. I have lived here for years and this is my go to takeaway I love there food soooooo much 😋

I have never gone and have no idea what it is like, but the name deserves a 5 star rating. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah

Avoid Avoid Avoid!!!! With a dislike for meat, I ordered the vegetable curry with vegetable rice. Got it home & found a huge lump of beef in it. Rang them, they argued we'd ordered a different item. When I argued back I was told to bring it back then... A 15 mile round journey! Even my partners meal tasted awful. Lost a couple of customers there, well done, great for business

We tried a few places whilst on holiday here for the February Half Term and enjoyed the chips from here. We actually ordered from here twice as we liked all the crispy ones. Appreciate its not for everyone but we don't like soggy chips so these were great.
