The best restaurants serving Default food in West Oxfordshire South East

It's a takeaway food is crap,not authentic and not all consistent poor chef tastes like out of a jar sticky mess vile 😫 Do not go there! 😡

Fab sausage rolls and good coffee, staff hard working and very polite even when some customers were being very rude to them

Staff smoke in their uniform in the pure gym entrance. Spoke to the manager keeps happening this isn’t professional allowing staff to smoke in someone else premises.

Oh dear, very disappointing. Been going to Witney Kebab House for years and there has been a drop in quality recently culminating in recent visit Sunday 21st of July 2024 after spending a nice evening in the pub. We ordered a small chicken kebab - which at least was cooked from fresh - a medium doner kebab and portion of chips, straight away noticed there was no salad out at all at the front of the counter as there normally is - odd I thought - but I thought the staff may be getting it from the back as I asked for all salad for each kebab which they confirmed. Then as we turned away they got the boxes with our food closed, after asking what sauces, and passed us the bag then we walked home. When we opened each of the kebabs at home each was just the meat, pitta and sauce with no salad. Chicken was OK, as were chips,but doner meat was dry & reheated & tasteless, but never had a kebab in my life with no salad and realised not brilliant without it! And we were charged £19.50 for it! Last time I use Witney Kebab House. The end.

Tried the new Starbucks in refurbished Sainsbury's,store brilliant but sadly the cafe doesn't match,we just had drinks due to the complete lack of gluten free choices,I was offered just one option, everything seemed very expensive compared to other chains and coffee was very basic, milk for coffee served in a paper cup even though we sat in,I don't mind paying if the quality is good,on this occasion it fell well short,we won't be going again on the positive the staff were lovely and full of apologies for lack of choice.they said alot of people had asked about gluten free so it's not just me.

Ordered pizza and coleslaw from Domino"s Witney. Use by date on the coleslaw is today. Phoned store and the flippant reply was "it's good until midnight." So I'm expected to eat a full tub of Coleslaw in 6 hours and pay full price for it? Poor customer service & satisfaction. Disappointed. @Dominos_UK

I went to this restaurant to pick up an order.service was awful and drinks was handed over on hand which is not good for food safety and risk of cross contamination . when I ask for bag I been told buy manager it is too expensive to put in bag. If you around Witney there is better service in Carterton.

The second time we have been here. Both times the food wasn't good and both times a very long wait for it to arrive. This time waiting 45 mins was unacceptable for food that wasn't nit

We called on spec, just passing by around noon. The restaurant area was almost empty apart from one lone diner and a table with what seemed to be two staff members chatting earnestly. After ignoring me for some minutes, one arose and asked if I wanted anything - yes, lunch for two (if it wasn't too much trouble) The other suited specimen arose and passed me by without a word. Being charitable, he could have been a contractor. Nevertheless this produced an immediate helpful waiter, with menus. After this shaky start, two excellent lunches were served in a short time. When we left, the bar area was now well patronized. I'd imagine these folks cater primarily for local business people and wedding parties. Certainly recommended, always assuming you can get served in the first place.
