Tried the new Starbucks in refurbished Sainsbury's,store brilliant but sadly the cafe doesn't match,we just had drinks due to the complete lack of gluten free choices,I was offered just one option, everything seemed very expensive compared to other chains and coffee was very basic, milk for coffee served in a paper cup even though we sat in,I don't mind paying if the quality is good,on this occasion it fell well short,we won't be going again on the positive the staff were lovely and full of apologies for lack of choice.they said alot of people had asked about gluten free so it's not just me.

With only one lady serving and taking orders for drinks and food delays were inevitable, being grossly overworked but showing patience and resilience. The queue ranged up to 15 people who appeared to be sympathetic to the servers plight. Sainsburys management should be ashamed of themselves,

Qued for over 10 minutes to get served. Ordered soup (one of each flavour on the menu) and 2 teas for my husband and myself. After taking a seat and waiting a further 5 minutes a member of staff came over and told us they had run out of one of the soups. We should have been told this at the start/marked on the menu when ordering. Tables were not being cleared/wipped down during the time we were there and staff also allowed a member of the public sitting near us to sit and apply nail varnish at a table. This was not pleasant due to the smell of the varnish while eating.

The building is lovely inside, even having quiet side room that a chap was happily using for a Teams business meeting. The staff were so friendly and efficient and made the start of our day so pleasant 😊

The food is great. Would always go there but not all the time to be honest otherwise then it gets repetitive and gets worse

Just moved area thought I’d try the local chippy, just paid £18 for this “large” cod & “large” chips and a battered sausage, the only thing they didn’t get wrong was the battered sausage, not even enough chips to feed one person, cod was a child’s portion, chips were undercooked, don’t usually leave reviews but that was awful. Would’ve been a regular customer. Never again.

Massively over priced. The jam for the scone hardly covered it. One cup of tea, not a pot. The scone was more like a large bread roll. Not a great experience.
