This spot is excellent and I really recommend it as I enjoyed my night here and would definitely come again. The lamp chops were delicious.

First time visit. We had to wait a really long time for 3 dishes. The staff was really nice but the waiting time killed the mood. The food was ok.

Excellent food. Scampi tempura were super. Main course of chicken wings with a barbecue sauce was superb. All served up by attentive and very friendly staff. Will return soon.

Such a welcoming team - 1st visit since the refurb and wholeheartedly approve of the facelift. The food is good value & well presented. The staff are so accommodating & nothing seems to be too much trouble. Pleasant lively atmosphere & lots of community events to look forward to. Highly recommend for an honest unpretentious local pub experience. Easy accessible parking is a huge bonus too.

The deal was two beef burgers with cheese, chips and a drink. £5.99 as I watched him make the burgers he didn’t put cheese in, so I asked can you please put the cheese in. He point blank refused and rudely told me I’d have to pay extra if I wanted cheese. I pointed to the picture and said thats what I was expecting when I paid for told. He replied with I don’t care what is in the picture, I’m not giving you the cheese unless you pay more. So rude!!
