Disappointed with the food, it all tasted the same, quality not up to usual standard

Thank you for the lovely food. My family are vegetarian and it is difficult finding Chinese vegetarian that is tasty. You tick all the boxes for us. All food is very tasty and fresh.

Food was cold, duck had hardly any meat on it all fat and had to shred it myself. Not a pleasant meal at all. Won’t be ordering again.

Delicious food but arrived 20 minutes earlier than the beginning of the expected time (we were given a 20 minute slot). Caused a bit of stress as we were just heading home and expected to arrive at way in advance of it, yet it beat us.

Hands down the best food ever. Each time it gets better and better. The flavours and the spice and veggie options are the best around this crazy lands. This review was written mid dinner from the best takeaway around

Chicken was very dry to the extent that the satay was hard. Nice flavoured satay sauce.

We did not receive the sauce for the duck pancakes, which made it very dry and unable to eat and the soups were very salty and lacking in flavour. Very disappointing.

This must be one of the worst Chinese takeaways we have ever ordered. The crispy shredded beef was everything but crispy, it was chewy and mushy. The sweet and sour pork was inedible! The dish was so gross that my partner, who is not a fussy eater at all, said it was just fat and cartilage wrapped in batter. Not sure about the good reviews but I will never ever order here again and I would not recommend this restaurant at all.

Very watery, bland food would not order from here again

I was so disappointed by the quality of the food. The sweet and sour chicken was OK but I have had better and there was not much chicken. The beef in black been sauce was too thick and the taste was not authentic. The prawn dish smelled terrible, we did not eat it. The only nice dish was the crispy duck which had not been shredded. Rice was very ordinary. Waste of money. I only ate the prawn crackers and was left hungry.

Took my friend here for the first time to get a takeaway. she was so impressed she went in and told them how much she enjoyed it, and that she will be returning compliments to the chef.

Ropey old food. Ordered duck, shredded beef, and the meal for 3. None of it was very good, mushy and plain. Place looked clean though and service was pleasant.

We are giving 4 stars because the service was nice. However the food itself could be better, we ordered pork noodles, pork friend rice and crispy beef. The rice and crispy beef were good but the noodles was not - too greasy. The price was also relatively cheap

Normally love this place but today i was very unimpressed food was overcooked to the point the s&s balls couldn't be bitten into in parts. Sorely disappointed with a place that is normally great.

Crispy shredded beef was dry and tasted burnt with virtually no sauce. Small noodle portions. Wings ok. Super average overall.

The food IS delicious. We have had a few Chinese previously but I can say this the best so far and we have ordered for the second time

We are new to the area and it was our first time trying Stoneleigh Palace and safe to say based off our first experience we will be regular customers!

Food not fresh taste like it’s been cooked in old burned oil, heated noodles meal up the next day in microwave and edges burnt not couldn’t eat had to throw away

Great main meal choices for vegetarians. Vegetarian chicken options are great as a lot of other restaurants don't offer this. One of the nicest Chinese take outs I've ever had!

The driver was a bit rude when he arrived with the food. He complained that my account had the wrong address but when I checked my account it was the correct address listed?

Not the greatest Chinese I’ve ever had that’s for sure however, it was hot, filled us up and wasn’t unpleasant!

Delivery took 1 hour and twenty minutes to stoneleigh on a Wednesday night. Greasy, sloppy, unseasoned food. Vegetable soup was inedible. Imperial oriental in the Broadway is 10x better

I’ve used this place before and it was ok .. but this time it was tasteless.. there was so much onion I may have just ordered £22 worth of onion … really disappointed…

The food quality was poor, the chicken satay was over cooked and very dry. The portions were also look small so I shall not be using this restaurant again.

The chicken noodles smelled and tasted bad. We have always ordered from here and haven’t had this experience. We had to throw the entire noodle dish!!!

Great value for money and tasty! The usual place we order from has gone up in price a lot over and delivery times have been ridiculous so we’ve been trying different places to find our new favourite. After reading the reviews we gave it a try and were really pleased! Food arrived on time, hot and super tasty. We will be ordering from here again

My order was basically cold but as my children were hungry we ate it anyway it tasted nice this was my fist time using cash on just eat and I used a voucher code with my order but the delivery driver charged me full price. not very happy about that.

Like the food at Stoneleigh Palace a lot. Friendly staff. Just wish delivery was a bit quicker.

There was hardly any meat in sweet and sour chicken hing king style was over filled with vegetables to hide there’s hardly any chicken, the salt and pepper chicken balls were the same there was like 6 pieces in it which I was expecting more for the price. I found a rib bone in my chicken noodles, thank goodness I found it before I bit into it very unhappy, also the sweet and sour ribs were very dry.

Not the usual flavour wonder you get, the Hunan Chicken was greasy and despite being described as more vegetable version of Kung Po or Szechuan only had mushrooms and chicken. The duck was wonderful as usual but the vegetable Singapore noodles were over spicy and not that flavourful. Perhaps it’s because it’s a busy Saturday evening things aren’t quite up to scratch.

Food was bad, my chow mien smelt off, the chicken balls tasted funny. Didn’t eat much as it was that bad. Wouldn’t go here again.

Delicious. Been looking for a decent Chinese for the laat 3 years and I have finally found one that stands up against the test of time. Scrumptious in every way possible.

Always good service, updates on delivery times are accurate. We usually order early with a request for asap and this is usually recieven in under 30mins. Food it hot , tasty and not greasy.
