Outstanding coffee shop in Gildredge Park. Very friendly staff, quality drinks/food and a lovely setting. Thoroughly recommended.

pensé que me iba a edad Reino Unido. este restaurante está en el complejo. tiene un precioso ambiente hogareño y acogedor ambiente con personal muy servicial. perdí el lunes pudding gratuito ya que fui un martes! El menú es corto pero no puedo culpar a las comidas, aperitivos, platos principales y postres son geniales y a un precio razonable. Mi primera opción para el almuerzo en Eastbourne.

4 of us had dinner here each had a different meal and we all loved it. The service was superb and we were not rushed

Arrived early into Eastbourne so wanted to find somewhere for breakfast. I opted to go the opposite way from the large Costa and came across That Coffee Place. The warm welcome and mini breakfast were a perfect way to set up for a weekend hiking - grabbed a baguette to go, for lunch later as well! Thoroughly recommend and will come again next time I'm down here!

Such an enjoyable evening with a warm welcome from Marina and her attentive personable service throughout. Our problem of the night? Which to choose from Amy’s delicious menu! Sharing plates to start (yum yum), followed by the most delicious of fish platters and rounded up with a coffee and home made truffles (plus a taster from my Dad’s plate of the much revered take on a ‘crunchie’. All beautifully presented and every element on the plate contributed to a scrumptious dish. The music also played a key role, it was light and just the right volume. Thank you ladies ( and sous chef whose name I didn’t catch for being bold and creating a wonderful place to dine. Great to see the awards you’ve landed in ‘23 and ‘24, I can only imagine ‘25 is a given too!

The best coffee and chocolate chip cookie in town, yum. Service is excellent; friendly and polite. My fav coffee shop.

Dinner was fantastic! We had a few distes and they were all really great. I would love to go back soon. 100% recommended!!

Thoroughly recommend here for a well cooked meal. Nice selection of vegetables, all of which served piping hot all served in a gentle & tranquil environment. Also, if you love your teas and coffees, they have a large range to choose from.

The Junipers and I cannot believe how amazing this cafe is, Oh we will be back! Now my Isa told me about 'The Tennis Cafe' and how the Girls and I should make it apart of our weekly cafe rotation, now after the absolutely divine afternoon we had I think you have become our new Monday cafe!! The beautiful young ladies working the cafe are so attentive and with how busy it is you'd think they'd be flabbergasted but no! Absolutely not! on the ball they were! what an amazing group to be looking after such a cafe!

Had a lovely coffee this morning and a chat with a local gentleman made it even better,, lovely place x

We had a party at Ninkaci, the most perfect venue. Beautifully decorated by Jo. Everyone had such a great evening. Drinks were amazing. A big thank you to Jo and bar staff xx

Staff and packaged products are awesome but coffee… £3.5 for instant heartburn is a bit much.

The food was two hours late. The restaurant told me the food was with the driver and 5 minutes away after an hour of being late. Then when i phoned back 20 minutes later they told me it was still sitting on the side with then and the driver hadn’t showed up yet

We have been going to this restaurant for years and have loved it. However. it seems to have changed ownership. We arrived at 515pm and there were only 2 other people in the restaurant. There were three of us and we ordered drinks, starters and main courses which were lovely. The restaurant had filled up by the time we had finished, and the woman who seemed to be in charge came up to us and said we need the table!! She didn't ask if we wanted coffee or dessert, we were basically told to leave and we hadn't even been there an hour. Such a rude person with no customer service, We shall not return.

Had coffee and a slice of cake here. The coffee is good - the cake isn’t bad either! - but it’s slightly more pricey than the usual coffee shop chains, and the size seemed a little smaller too. Nice atmosphere inside though, not sure I’d sit outside as it’s quite close to the busy road, and tastefully decorated.
