First impression is of a brightly painted exterior of green and gold that certainly catches your eye - venture inside and you will find a lovely snug, traditional style pub with an interesting history. Engage in a chat with the friendly landlady who will happily tell you the history of the pub, adopted by the Anzac troops stationed nearby in WW1... whence the name "fair Dinkum" came from! Sit by a cosy fire and sample a few local ales ... Sunday dinners are not to be missed nor is the local farmers market held every Tuesday. Ask about 'Travelling Kindness Rocks' of which this is home to of one of the first to travel from Nova Scotia,Canada. All in all well worth dropping in for a visit!

Highly recommended, the food is amazing and cooked to order. I had the chicken biryani with mango chutney - yummy! The place is also dog friendly which is a massive bonus for us.

Doc is our favourite local cafe. Slap bang in the middle of town, yet quietly tucked away from the busy station road and onto a quieter street. Over the years we have grown fond of the owners who are
