Delicious beers and excellent service. Highly recommend. Speaking of delicious, there was a strapping ginger lad there called Christopher. Tall and eloquent. Surprisingly intelligent. Yet quirky in a Ron Weasley kind of way. If you read this Christopher, send me a message!

Lovely, friendly coffee shop. I broke down in Selborne and the owner was amazingly helpful. I had a mocha which was far better than the nationwide coffee shops.

Incredible and inventive food, attentive staff. Really enjoyed our evening.

Went today for a Sunday roast first time. Definitely going again beautiful dinner and pudding. A special mention for the lady serving the tables today, her name was Agata very polite,helpful and extremely hard working a great asset to this business for sure.Many thanks Agata for a wonderful Sunday afternoon (even hubby said ‘Best meal and service’ we have had for months. We stopped for tea here. Lovely staff and very pleasant setting there are 3 gift shops selling a wide variety of items from gifts to perfume, handbags and much more. Would definitely go back if in the area.

Such friendly staff. Delicious and reasonably priced Sunday lunch. The garden was delightful. Would be very happy to make the trip again.

Another fantastic meal at The Three Horseshoes. Excellent food, outstanding service and a homely environment. Lovely to see a proper pub with a few in for lunch. Our next visit can't come soon enough! (Is your Good Evans barbecue sauce homemade? It really is exceptional.)

Lovely pub at the bottom of the zig zag hill walk. Beautiful. Had a wonderful walk then popped into the pub for a pint. Would have eaten their but fully booked. Highly recommended

Given that the food within Country Market itself – the butcher, the cheese counter and the vegetables are all wonderful this could have been fabulous - However, apparently this cafe has nothing to do with country market at all. My salad (at over £7) was iceberg lettuce, 2 tasteless tomato's chopped into quarters, and about eight slices of cucumber. And the chicken was extraordinary! It had been cut into square sided wedges like chips and had clearly been cooked and then frozen. It was very cold, watery and the first couple of pieces tasted a bit like fish. Suffice it to say that I left the majority of the quite generous portion. When I ordered I was offered by the wonderful staff to have either mayonnaise or have it as coronation chicken – I suspect that was to hide the reality of the meat (if you can call it that) itself. They have no salad dressing. You can only have mayonnaise or salad cream – unless you want to put the malt vinegar they use for the chips on your salad. Olive oil does not exist and apparently they only use vegetable oil in the kitchen The redeeming feature was the coleslaw which was absolutely lovely – as were the staff. The cakes looked great and the people in there seemed quite happy with their coffee. They don't actually have a salad on the menu so I suspect they normally put the chicken in a baked potato or a sandwich but for those people who can't eat grains a salad was the only option. I was grateful that they made it for me however I think cheese might have been a safer bet! I was so stunned by how truly terrible it was that I didn't even manage to take a photograph – very remiss or you would've seen the state of the chicken! I was sorely disappointed – it was one of the worst meals I've ever eaten. I would've done better to have gone into the shop and bought an avocado, a couple of tomatoes and a piece of cheese! I know for next time!!
