There were some really interesting and lovely things in the barns . We also went for afternoon tea in the cafe/restaurant. The food was delicious and they accommodated for an allergy very well. The only disappointment was there was only one tea available, and we had to go and ask for extra milk . It was an enjoyable experience and the young waitress was very pleasant and helpful

We happened to come across this cafe on our way to Bordon, and we found it delightful, lovely coffee and cake and even had a fish pond in the cafe! BUT although the restaurant makes an accessible claim on their website there was no disabled loo, and trying to go to the ordinary toilet was up a HUGE step , which I found incredibly difficult to manage, and the cubicles themselves were too small and totally unsuitable. If anyone is confined to a wheelchair they had no facility to use. For this reason we probably won’t be visiting again which is a real pity.

Small but varied menu in the coffee shop. All well presented and felt individually made. Gift stores have some great present ideas in which you won't find on the standard high street.

We popped in for lunch today. Wow! My daughter had sausage roll, mash and beans. The meal was yummy and the sausage roll packed with flavour. I had the prawn sandwich with the salad. The plate was a picture of deliciousness when it arrived. I’m not a picture taker of food, but wish I had today - to share. The sandwich was packed with the prawn mayonnaise; the salad of cucumber, fresh lettuce leaves, crunchy coleslaw, tiny tomatoes and a yummy mayo covered beetroot was yummy. It was all beautifully presented. Service was friendly, happy and efficient. A fabulous choice for a yummy lunch!

Saw a sign when passing and decided to stop. Very glad we did ended up visiting twice in one week. Had a nice cream tea with my husband-warm scone, not heated in a microwave but still fresh and crispy and proper cream. Then bought my daughter in law for lunch. Very good main courses. Then thought we would have a small dessert. Very generous and filling portions. Will definitely be back.

It’s Eddie the Bear and Peter the Frog here. Today we enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea at the Chocolate Frog. The sandwiches were fluffy and had a good choice of fillings. We couldn’t decide what cakes we liked the most as they all looked lovely. The scones were delicious with the jam and generous amount of clotted cream. The staff were very friendly and polite despite it being extremely busy and the manageress was particularly welcoming to a bear and his frog. I would recommend you pay them a visit. Thank you so much 😊

Had a lovely tea and pudding at the Chocolate Frog this week. When we went to go to the toilet, the lights were off, and the woman we asked to turn them on was clearly disgruntled about it. I have visited The Chocolate Frog many times prior to lockdown and have always had a lovely meal. Today I visited with a friend for lunch, as a treat for her 60th birthday and we were both very disappointed. We learned that the previously homemade cooked food was now brought in, reheated and served. You could definitely tell that was the case with our pies and mash. There was barely any filling in the chicken, bacon and leek. The mash definitely didn't taste like real potato. It was dry, though we were told it was not powder. Even the desserts and delicious cakes are no longer homemade. On a positive note, the coffee was nice. Sadly, we won't be returning.

A beautiful location for a bite to eat and a spot of shopping. We visited over the Christmas weekend for a celebratory afternoon tea, celebrating my birthday, our daughter’s wedding and Christmas. There is an abundance of parking and the locate is in the beautiful Hampshire countryside. This is an interesting place, a tea-room and gift shops. There is a big car-park, and lots of space between the tables. There is a good selection of mains, although baked beans or mushy peas only as a vegetable, which is a bit odd with steak casserole. Vast selection of deserts, although a few were not available. The service was very good and portions decent size.

An out of the way place which previously were farm buildings converted to three gift shops and a café. The shops have good quality merchandise but if only one needs it. The café is simple affair of the original building with an extension to double the size. The menu uses mostly local produce cooked in homely style, based on homely recipes. The service is café standard. The wines are very limited in variety but all charged at same price.

First time today visiting the Chocolate Frog today. We ordered 2 coffees and a sausage roll. Coffee was fine sausage roll which was £4 25 was literally just plonked on a plate no coleslaw, crisps or bit of salad on the plate. Disappointing for the price it wouldn't be hard to make it look a bit more appertizing. Won't be in a hurry to go back.

Very disappointing food. Had a ham sandwich and a piece of cake. Sandwich consisted of 2 slices of basic white thin bread, butter and a thin slice of ham. I had asked for a ham and tomato sandwich but a couple of cherry tomatoes were put on the side not in the sandwich. There wasn’t any garnish or crisps on the side. Not great value for money. Cafeteria’s of coffee came as just cups of coffee and when we pointed it out they bought us a teapot full of coffee. We had to ask for cutlery and serviettes once the food had been brought out. We won’t be eating here again although the shops around the cafe were lovely.

Had breakfast here. Had called the day previous to book a table to be told we don't take booking for breakfast they'll be plenty of space. On arriving early next morning we were asked if we had booked? With lots of tables already reserved. Luckily there had been 1 spare for us to sit. Breakfast wasn't too bad, items were left on the side board once ready for the waitress/waitresses to then hand out so could have gone slightly cold there. Hadn't been asked the type of egg that was wanted with breakfast and wasn't until after I realised we had a choice.

This place is a great place to go to food and an overall dining and shopping experience. There is indoor and outdoor dining facilities, there is also an afternoon tea room which is stunning. It’s probably best to book, but they do accept walk ins. My friend is a celiac and she ate the steak chips and tomatoes, my husband had fish and chips. I skipped a main and had a pudding instead, this shows that the staff are very accommodating. My other friend broke his glasses and we asked the staff if they had a mini screwdriver. The young lady disappeared and asked the owner if they had one and hey presto!! They bought him a miniature screwdriver and his glasses were fixed. No that’s service for you! The shops are very eclectic, there is 3 of them selling some really interesting items. The breakfasts here are very good too so make a point of going for a morning or an afternoon out.

Pleasant drive to this surprising out-of-the-way spot which apart from the cafe has gift shops. Lunch was pleasant and although it was Tuesday it was extremely busy. A member of staff said it was extremely unusual to be so busy during the week and as a result didn’t really have enough staff to cope so service was slow which to be honest, really didn’t matter. Sitting outside on a warmish day was honestly a joy. Lunch (sandwiches and a fish pie) was fine and very generous. Decent coffee. One big drawback: they don‘t sell chocolate frogs. That‘s right, you read it correctly. The Chocolate Frog DOES NOT SELL CHOCOLATE FROGS! When I paid, the young lady said: “I don‘t know why we don’t sell them because everybody asks to buy one.“ Hey guys, you could make a killing selling chocolate frogs!!

Didn’t ask if we wanted anymore drinks or if everything was okay , highly disappointed as myself and my mum used to love coming here for afternoon tea .

I visited yesterday with a colleague. Lovely venue but afraid it stopped there. Firstly, difficulty getting eye contact from waitress who appeared to attend to people who came in after us. Eventually, waved her down. Ordered tea, coffee and 2 sandwiches one sausage, one bacon. Waitress then had to ask twice to ascertain whay we had ordered? After another delay informed there was no bacon so doubled up on sausage. After another long delay then i was informed no sausage. And still no drinks? I then asked for a sausage roll only to be informed there were none of those either? At this point I asked what items they might actually have on menu? Finally settled after a detailed discussion on panini. After what seemed now about half an hour or more, all of our order came. Panini, brie and cranberry wasn't well presented and my colleague nearly burnt his tongue on overheated coffee. When I went to pay they couldn't find my bill so had to reiterate what we had ordered. Apparently they were one chef down that day (a bank holiday). We usually have a second drink but decided easier to go down the road a mile to the country park. Venue less attractive but service fast and connected. Think I will ride onto Gibert White's café at Selborne next time in area.

I was greeted when I first arrived by the front of house staff who were very friendly, I was then shown to a table where they were able to accommodate me very quickly without a booking, the inside decor is lovely and clean and the views are great, then to the food, the beef was scrumptious, a lovely amount of veg which was all fresh, and all in all very delicious, the staff throughout ensured I had everything I needed and you could tell they genuinely cared and took pride in there work, Top job everyone, I will not hesitate to return or recommend you guys!
