I can't think of a time I have been made to feel more unwelcome in a cafe. We walked in just before 3 and noticed all of the empty tables had reserved signs on them, a little bit odd but we thought they'd prepped them for the next day. We ordered drinks and cakes and when asked where we sitting we asked where we were allowed to sit as all of the tables were either occupied or had reserved signs on them. We were told we couldn't sit at any table with a reserved sign on it because the table was closed. A table became available but it was full of dirty crockery and the height of the chairs wasn't suitable for those in our party with reduced mobility. We eventually negotiated a reserved picnic bench which I had to wipe down myself because it was covered in other people's food. Our drinks came out and were slammed on the table, with the latte nearly toppling over as the picnic bench wasn't quite level. The milk for my tea came in a tea cup which makes it difficult to pour without spilling it. As we weren't given any napkins I had to wipe spillages up with a tissue. Throughout our time there we were subjected to the sound of chairs noisily being slammed on top of the table as they closed more and more tables. Two parties of four left bemused without buying anything at 3:15 because they were told there were no tables available. There were plenty of tables available and the cafe is advertised as being open until 4. The cakes were nice, but the staff don't seem to like customers. We won't be returning. It's a real shame. We like the garden centre that it's attached to and like a coffee and a cake when we're out so we're probably just go to a different garden centre instead.

We went to have lunch after the car boot and stood in line for 40 minutes, in that time we witnessed one of the server's arguing with a customer, loosing orders, confusion over orders and general bad attitude towards the customers. We gave up on lunch and walked out. We will not be going there again. We are regulars of the Farnborough branch which is the complete opposite, friendly happy staff, no long waits and the food and coffee is amazing. I highly recommend the Farnborough branch, gold stars all round for them.

The place is small and dingy with oversized settees and clunky chairs and tables. In need of an update. Service is a bit slow but staff were pleasant. Coffee/Cakes good but overpriced. It is disappointing to hear from the staff that they will no longer be stamping your cards for a free coffee after so many visits. All in all there are nicer places around this area!

Hopeless. Stood at the counter, at least three staff members so engrossed in doing god knows what managed to studiously ignore us. Not even eye contact or any acknowledgement that we were there. Simply walked out. This place seriously needs to address its approach to customer service.

Lunchtime on a Friday. In view of the simplicity of the offerings on the menu it puzzles me that the service is so slow here. Not the first time. Staff appear to be trying but somehow it doesnt work. I can't imagine what it is like here during a busy session. Previous revewers comments about parasols is valid as the patio area does face South!

I would like to say a huge thank you to Flora for such fantastic service. She was so welcoming and attentive, and made our evening. The food was delicious, however we found the veal a a little over cooked so we mentioned this to our waitress who promptly offered a replacement dish. Apart from this, the pasta dishes were delicious and I would highly recommend them, especially the carbonara. Thank you again Flora ❤️

Wonderful village pub, very dog friendly. They have a freshly made pizza menu, including options for us coeliac and gluten free humans - and the GF pizza bases are excellent.

The best pizza outside of Italy, lovely staff and great atmosphere. Guido is a great host and you have to try the wine from his family vineyard, Badia a Coltibuono. Abbondanza!
