The best restaurants serving Default food in St Mary's and Waterside Chiltern South East

We are here at least once a week. Food and coffee is great and it has a relaxed and happy vibe. We are made to feel welcome and they are very dog friendly too. Highly recommended.

A good selection of delicious scoops of ice cream. A really good little shop. It’s perfect after doing a walk or just for a treat. We came after going to the park and my niece and nephew were very happy with their cones.

Utterly delightful! After going for a swim in the newly refurbished Lido I asked Google to recommend somewhere for brunch. It couldn’t have recommended anywhere better. We were warmly welcomed into the restaurant which has a friendly and calm atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious and the Family running the restaurant both made and served the food. Although the home-madecakes looked delicious I had no space after my brunch for or even a crumb and asked to take two slices away. I explained that myself and my friend would have half of the slice each to have a taste of both. They very kindly pre-sliced our cakes and gave us a box each. Both of the Apple cakes that we tried were light, moist full of flavour and I wish I lived closer! Perhaps the family could be persuaded to come and set up in my local village. I wish!

Lovely lunch...jerk chicken rice .... bbq chicken rice.... very good portion tasty meal.... great coleslaw.... perfectly cooked halloumi.... the staff is great helpful....very good experience

Three brilliant live acts! This is a fantastic venue. You are so close to the musicians, you can actually chat to them. Its totally relaxed but at the same time highly professional. Excellent food as well. Why pay London prices when you've something as amazing as this on your doorstep

Popped in here while waiting for my bike to go through its MOT. I visit a lot of cafes on my bike and this is probably up there with one of the best. Atmosphere is great and the food is absolutely lovely. Coffee is great too, really enjoyed my visit, will be back.

If you’re doing the Chorleywood to Chesham; and can wait it out for food, place is well worth it. Foods very good, lasagna is solid, decent prices as well! Thanks for having us

I had a meal to celebrate my birthday on 1st April with friends. Staff were so welcoming, friendly and attentive. Food as always was superb. They coped well with a big group and got food out quickly. Made my special day 🙂

Great value for money - huge portions, really tasty food

If you like supporting independent venues, if you enjoy listening to wonderfully-talented musicians in an intimate space, if you like freshly prepared good value food and expertly-mixed cocktails served up by friendly staff, this is the place for you. The Drawing Room is tucked away in a cobbled courtyard just off Chesham high street but in a league of its own , beckoning you to come closer with its strings of fairy lights and chimenea, old wooden beams and crooked floors. It's a magical place, a great little café by day, but on Friday and Saturday evenings, it's also a very special live music venue with very high standards - we've never seen a bad act here. It's a unique place that welcomes everyone and the vibe is contagious; you'll forget about your troubles for an hour or two and leave with a renewed sense that all is ok with the world after all. And if you don't fancy live music there's comedy night too.

Helpful staff very friendly great beer

A very relaxing friendly place with lovely staff. I ordered The Tavern Breakfast and it beautifully presented and very tasty. This place has a good selection of what seems to be cooked on the premises. Definitely worth a visit even if for a cuppa outside on the chairs provided.

Really disappointed, the chicken tikka masala used to be 10/10 but now it’s like you’ve dropped a whole bottle of lemon juice in it! I brought your curry for family in November and told them how great it was and how lucky we were to have found a good Indian near us. Once we received it having all ordered the chicken tikka masala. Nobody liked it because it was so lemony!!! I thought I’d give you a second chance today, maybe it was a bad batch! No. Still extremely lemony, such a shame. Money wasted :( Won’t be ordering from here again and will continue the hunt to find our local go to 10/10 Indian
