The best restaurants serving Default food in Lavant Chichester South East

Food arrived stone cold and late. The burger was under cooked and meat looked like it was yesterday’s meat. Most of the food ended up in the bin. Disgusting meal, would never go back again. What a waste of money.

Restaurante situado en la finca Goodwood, a unos 15 minutos en coche de Chichester. Ubicado en un granero de estilo rural hay un bar separado que conecta con el restaurante Bain. Buena carta de platos tradicionales británicos. Comida de muy buena calidad, especialmente las carnes. Buena carta de vinos y servicio. No es particularmente barato, pero de muy buena calidad. Hay absolutamente un hotel en el sitio con club de ocio.

Las patatas fritas eran magníficas, la hamburguesa con queso era horrible, muy seca , en un rollo seco, un toque de queso sin salsa ni sabor y ninguno ofrecido , caro en £ 5 . 80 una gran decepción. Tenía mucho mejor al lado de la carretera de una furgoneta.

Me and my wife stopped here a few nights ago for a quick drink after having an evening walk in the Downs. After overhearing a few patrons claiming the food was so good, and after seeing how beautiful the inside was and the views it enjoys, I swiftly booked a Sunday spot for me and my family. We are a family of 4, with a 5 year old and a 2 year old, and our mini Dachshund Woody. We sat outside which was spacious, open and relaxed. The views were spectacular and there is a little path which leads you to Lavant Cricket pitch. The lady that served us, Susie, was wonderful and made me and my family feel so welcome and she was so sweet to our dog and gave him treats. The owners Mother is so warm and endearing too, we had a brief chat with her and she gave a little treat to my son. It’s the little things that go a long way. The food. Wow, the food. I had the pork roast and without a doubt, it was the best Sunday roast I had ever eaten. My wife fish and chips which was outstanding, and my fussy 5 year old devoured his chicken goujons. 10/10, 5 star. We will be coming back here a lot.

Lugar encantador. Fuimos un lunes a almorzar. Tristemente, no nos impresionó la ensalada que parecía consistir en zanahoria cocida en frío, patata, coliflor, etc. Hubiera preferido una ensalada tradicional, toms, pepino, lechuga con el salmón ahumado y aguacate. Pensamos que quizás sobras del almuerzo del domingo del día anterior. Muy decepcionante y no sabía particularmente bien.

Went for breakfast for our anniversary. We were offered sandwiches, or a full English, the reason the full menu was not available because not many people staying. I think this was very bad as my family had travelled from different parts of the country and was looking forward to a lovely relaxing breakfast.

Me pareció que el servicio era excelente. Nuestra camarera Sophie era excepcional en su gracia, atención y entrega. ¡Marcas completas! Sin duda volveremos de nuevo la próxima vez que estemos en la zona.

Great location and atmosphere, however all the Vegan options have disappeared from the menu. Staff adapted vegetarian dish however venue unfortunately won’t be top of our list anymore. (We will keep an eye on the menu and hope options return)

Buen hotel un poco deshilachado en los bordes de la comida buen baño pequeño. Pedí una habitación con vistas y conseguí una sobre el aparcamiento de autocares, al menos podía ver las tiendas desde allí. No son buenos con comensales solos o viajeros.

Nice enough room with clean and well kept grounds, bar/restaurant. Overall, whilst I nice visit, we would recommend anyone to stay at this Pig. Its is one of the lowest priced ones, but still way overly priced for what it is. Better locations with nicer views/surrounding area can be easily found. Stayed just outside Chichester the night before for more than half the price with food and drink at lower price points and it was a lovely old country side pub/hotel so nice walks, garden, etc
