The best restaurants serving Default food in Blean Forest Canterbury South East

So much more than just a pub with amazing food, run by a beautiful family, and with a great atmosphere. I will absolutely be returning and cannot wait to try more of the food. It was so lovely to meet the entire family and couldn't have felt more welcome.

Neat and tidy bar. Had a pint here, people with good attitude.

The staff are super friendly, chatty and polite. Always greeted with a smile and the coffee and food selection is great.

The manager is a very nice guy, always asking us if the food is good and has a positive altitude. However, some of the staff behind the bar are just slow and don’t provide the service expected.

We had the Burger and fries deal for £6 each and it was great. Good food for the price and lovely customer service. The menu also has vegan options.

It is disgusting to the extreme, the leftovers that are not sold out at noon are put into the afternoon to sell the same and the price is still the same as at noon to sell the same price, and that's not all, in the vegetable soup inside the plastic tablets are eaten!

Had an excellent meal at The Royal Oak. Took advantage of their Tuesday free starter or dessert offer and had whitebait followed by a rump steak. Whitebait was excellent - very tasty and not too big. The steak was perfectly cooked to order and served with nice crispy chips with soft middles, onion rings, tomatoes. Beer was great as always. An excellent evening - thank you!

Underwhelming, fat pizza and decent burgers. You’ll smell like frying oil going out.

A gem of a place - lovely food although a limited menu, but cheap, and quick and ideal for a quick bite before or after a show. It's also a really great place just to hang out and take your time over a coffee.

Went last Monday, disappointing breakfast, bacon so undercooked almost raw, scrambled egg overcooked. Shame, as have had before and it was lovely.

So far I've tried Classic Chicken Burger and Chocolate Shake. Both were good - although the price was a bit on the higher end.

Disgusting food for 5 pound. The African curry served in a crunchy roll was a handful of mediocre curry (undercooked veggies) in a plain bun. The "preparation" consisted of microwaving the bun with the curry inside basically drowning the roll, which fell apart soaking wet.

Turned up at half 1 on a Saturday and the place was closed, despite the opening hours on Google. No note on the door explaining why they were closed either. Not a great first impression.
