We had the Burger and fries deal for £6 each and it was great. Good food for the price and lovely customer service. The menu also has vegan options.

There has been massive improvements since my last review. The introduction of the new burgers pushes me back up to five stars. My old review: "Cola is great. Food is fantastic." - 5 stars was my old review Unfortunately after years of going here it seems the prices of the deals have gone up. For example the old deal used to save £1.50 ish, now you only save £0.30 when you get the Mac and cheese for example. It's hardly a deal and the prices were already quite high. The food is still good but the prices have gone up by a pound or two. But if you don't mind that this place is for you.

I'm a fan of Origins on occasions. It's gotten quite pricey these days, and the menu was sadly slashed. But good vegan options and generally good atmosphere. (for some reason the music there is quiet except the bass which is really not quiet(not sure what's up with that))

nice experience nd very chill just makes sure you check when you are going cos sometimes there are student nights and socials so could be really busy

Had food on a Saturday which was a restricted menu, just nachos,wings and macaroni cheese but food was very nice and inexpensive

Expensive food. If students can afford the food here then maybe the university fees should be increased for them.

From my point of view, Mac 'n cheese dishes are the specialities of the restaurant. They have a very good variety of food dishes and desserts, even they have vegan menu. The quality of the food is acceptable with the price. And they serve quickly the food. I recommend this restaurant!

Friendly chill environment , great place to have a drink with your course mates

Bad customer service, waited 42 minutes for my food, not much helpful at all. The mac and cheese was plain and there was no taste at all.

Liked the chicken skewers, salmon skewers, and vegan burgers. They sometimes make salmon mac and cheese which is beyond amazing!!

Burgers are really good if you get the meal deal, it comes with fries as well as a drink. If you have a tenner or have taken the partially catered meal scheme.

Wait excessively long for a mediocre burger that somehow they decided was worth £8.50? And Kent thinks this is acceptable?

Staff were just plain rude. I mean ridiculously rude

First of all, the place is nice and amazing but 1 of 3 times when I visit the orgins the burger is frozen inside and the cheese is cold when is it meant to be 75 degrees. I feel like the weekends chef doesn’t know how to cook or something but the staff are kind.

Classic example of "you get what you pay for". You can't kid the fact that it's cheap student food, barely elevated beyond cafeteria grub but to it's credit, it's priced accordingly. I've also tried their meat free options and they're not bad. They are relatively convincing meat substitutes covered in the same sauces. You can tell you're not eating meat but that doesn't mean it's not enjoyable. If your looking to fill up on carbs fairly cheaply, it's not a bad bet but if your looking for something a little special, try somewhere else.

Always a good place for a lunch or a karaoke night

Great food but poor inventory. The best foods are normally out of stock after 6pm and even earlier on weekends.

Went to qquiz night, which was fun. Felt more like a cafeteria.

Nice ambience, but a bit pricy. £4 for a bottle of Bishop's Finger seems excessive to me. All in all, it'll work in a pinch.

It’s an affordable restaurant with good food and drinks.

Went with a friend to get some food. Not much to tell, seems to be a good place to get food and some refreshments.

Recommended - Burger Quality is better than Mungos. Mexican dishes served quickly. Sound system needs some work. Hosts Geekfest.

I've been here multiple times and have never left disappointed. The staff are as nice as students can be and many of the times there has been live music, even in the early afternoon. I usually go for one of the pulled pork options with them always being decent portion sizes which suits me quite nicely. Not perfect but always my choice of place to go to eat while on campus.

Worst salad I've ever had. A few leaves for over 5 quid. Total rip off.

What normally has been a great restaurant was rather disappointing this time. On the website it clearly says that hot food is served from 12:00-21:00, however upon arriving at 13:45 we were told by one of the staff that they only serve food after 15:00. My only question to the management. Why open the restaurant at 12:00 if you cannot serve anyone until 3 hours later.

Mexican spiced chicken wrap tasted bland, curly fries were luke warm and price for a student restaurant was high for the quality. Service was quick and friendly, just the food sucks ass

The food was ok maybe for 4 stars but the general hygiene was not the best...the service was funny when collecting the emptied tables and they served us used portions of mayonnaise and ketchup...of course we returned it for new ones...

Had the origins burger - bun was soggy, burger was thin, bacon was fatty. Curly fries were good.

This is probably my favourite Mexican place in Canterbury. Service is very fast and value for money is just great. The menu includes a variety of nachos, fajitas, burgers, salads, burritos and quesadillas. The food tastes very nice. I would definitely recommend this place to all Mexican/Spicy food lovers!
