Didn't realise this was under new ownership. Cheeky chaps serving, polite too. Shame food is served in foil containers as spread out. I expected a donor kebab with pitta bread, it was a Turkish bread which was okay. Food was tasty, my friend had a chicken shish that was delicious. Yes they are peppers not a pickle as told which could have been an allergy issue, thankfully tasted only a small part. They prefer cash, which is fine, but not fine being over charged a couple of quid! It was okay, not sure I'd return though if I was in the area again.

Great food delivered on time which is a refreshing change! Also impressed that they actually read the additonal notes/requests we added to our order and accommodated them all...so many places don't.

Chicken shish, tasty hot and NOT dry. Forget pitta bread, Turkish bread is my new favourite. Try it 🙌🏻

Delivered late.food stone cold,chips missing from order,not very friendly phone manner.tried to ring to discuss the issue,engaged.. Microwaved the food to bring it back to life,didn't taste that bad to be fair.

Been using this shop for around 6 months when I first moved to Herne Bay. Every-time I go in here I’ve never been greeted or thanked for my purchases ever. Staff come across as rude and blunt. Today unfortunately I will not be coming back ever again. Went in to get a large portion of fries which usually cost £3.00 and the guy behind the counter tried charging me £6.00 for the same portion and I said I’m not paying £6.00 why is this? And he said because you’re paying by card. I’ve never paid cash in the 6 months of being a customer and it’s never been a problem before. There are no signs indicating a higher charge for using card. In other words it was a complete piss take and scam to try to get a bit of extra money out of me. Disgusting. 1*. Avoid.

Food was something you would have after a night out not something I would have sheesh was okay very chewy

Orders food through just eat waited 3 hours called many times still no food just eat take your money no chance of getting it back total joke no food ever came &25 gone in someone’s pocket for doing nothing…. Don’t use just eat to order from here you will wmd up with no food & your money gone…..

Ordered this evening. Food turned up cold and the portion size was a joke. The below picture is supposed to be a medium meat and chips. £8 for a match box of meat and 5 chips

Soaky and cold chips, burger was rubbery with no taste and they forgot the salad and hardly any burger sauce, If you want a kebab or burger in the bay don't waste your time going here goto King kebab much better food.

The worst place I have ever been to. Rude, incompetent and completely forgot half of my order.

I live 6 miles from Bay Kebabs but it's the best Kebab I've had so worth the journey. Friendly staff who know their customers.

I ordered a kebab. When it was delivered, the guy just left the meal on the doorstep without ringing the bell or knocking. The food was stone cold. Couldn't get refund. Totally disgusted with service.

Extremely accommodating. Their attention to customer service and inclusion is excellent, their pizzas are actually fantastic and their portion sizes are exactly what a hungry bodybuilder wants for a cheat day!

Ordered food and it took over an hour and a half to be delivered when it was supposed to be twenty minutes. Rude staff and the food was cold. Awful.

This is the worst kebab shop in herne bay. Below picture is a chicken nuggets and chips meal, as you can see it had a grand total of 4 chips. We also bought a lamb donner, chicken burger and chips and it came to 30. Chips were rock hard and overcooked, just overall terrible. Claimed they didn’t take card either so had to go cash point. Everyone’s woken up with a painful belly. Never again.

I'm from leeds guys was on sofa deliveries was hungry so thought try this place customer's services very bad as rude asked for toilets no have for customer's we ordered chicken doner kebab it's burnt very hard to eat no sald had to pay extra I really won't recommend

Ordered a collection through just eat collection only. Once collected the order got home and half the order was missing called the takeaway and asked for the missing items to be brought out to us and was told no and had the phone put down on us. Returned the order to get a refund which they was refusing only to be sworn and and receive abuse from the owner. Avoid this establishment unless you want to receive abuse if your order is wrong

food was nice but delivery driver was kissing his girlfriend in the car and the girl in the car was giving me and my friend extremely rude looks

Twice I've been to Bay Kebabs and its just awful, the men are very rude and unpleasant and the food is over cooked and nasty, a thoroughly demoralising experience.

Great food once again. I am happy to drive 5 mins to collect my food when the quality of food is that high. Very happy.

Worst kebab I've ever ordered, burnt to a crisp all the meat, and the naan bread- could of killed a man if i threw it at him. Salad was swimming in water and mushy First time I've tried the food here and I'm not happy. Rang the shop and all offered was a sorry. #shitta

Kebab is decent but they 80 percent of the time get your order wrong and give little refund when it happens

Always order from here but gone downhill lately. I ordered a donner kebab and had 2 cucumber slices and 1 slice of tomato when I asked for all salad with it and I asked for burger sause but got hardly no sause with it. Very disappointed and won't be ordering again if this continues

The food is perfect. They always cook it quickly but never rush it. The customer service is wonderful. The guys there are always joking about and having a good time. Definitely would recommend.

Banging food, amazing customer service and just all round amazing atmosphere. 100% would recommend to anybody who likes their takeaways and the guys there are incredibly friendly. Amazing!

I really enjoyed the kebab here. Quality meat and they use nicer bread. Not that there's anything wrong with pita. They've got the best pickled red cabbage I've ever tried.

Worst kebab experience in herne bay, tried charging me 10,50 for cheesy chips then checked the box and may aswell of picked out one flake of cheese

The kebab itself isn't actually that bad its the service. They mess our order up all the time and think a bottle of coke makes up for our meal being ruined? Get told to order on the website to get a discount and they mess up the order.. Order on the phone and waited an hour and a half when I was told 15 minutes. Sadly we found a better kebab in Herne Bay

Absolutely looooooved the chicken and lamb kebabs! An added bonus is that the staff are very friendly.

When I first moved to Herne bay was blown away by the staff , the way they worked and the interaction with customers… the past few times has been disappointing, food ok ish , price’s vary £7-£10 for just meat chip and salad Much more friendlier ,cheaper and tastier takeaways in the Bay Sorry but I don’t get takeaway regularly and felt let down today x

You I moved into Herne Bay area about 5 years ago and i can honestly say I've never had a bad meal the chicken shish is absolutely delicious and great value its BIG so i would highly recommend it to anyone Jim 6a sea view

3rd time ordering delivery and 3rd time it's been over and hour to arrive. Been waiting 1hr10mins and still nothing. They used to be great so gave them the benefit of the doubt but won't be using again.

Absolutely awful experience! I wouldn't recommend to anyone. The food was horrible, very brittle, had a tangy taste and very chewy. Charged extra for salad which normally comes included on a kebab from there, Didn't get what we asked for and no sauce which was asked for. They was very rude when asked to pay by card to which we didn't know it was cash only and got the reply urgh it's cash only go down the road and get cash was his reply.

Super nice yummy kebab. And important thing is clean . Nice garlic sauce fresh vegetables.

Stopped by for dinner after my shift. Very professional and friendly 👏 also great food. I'll be back.

If I could rate no stars I would Bay!! Bay Kebabs are absolutely disgusting! Food was left on my doorstep and the delivery driver had fled before I had even got to the door. Food was covered in things I didn't ask for. When I phoned all I got was someone say "mm" to me then was passed over to the manager who said "just take it off" and "our customers like it your the only one moaning" when I asked what he was going to do about it he said next time I order to ask for nothing on it which I replied with there won't be a next time. He just kept saying "I don't think you understand me our customers like it" i asked him what he is going to do about my food and again he told me to just take it off and then he hung up on me. Absolute poor service will never be going to them again disgusting!

Flying visit to Herne Bay and came across this restaurant. Staff were very friendly and helped my friends and I choose what to order as we were incredibly hungry. We ordered a family grilled meal which came with a large selection of meats, both grilled and doner, with a lovely authentic salad, starters and other side trimmings. The meat lamb and chicken was excellent quality and very tender, I could taste the freshness. The taste of the food was exceptional and the restaurant really offers an authentic Turkish taste. Lamb and Chicken doner were also very nice, it was cooked to perfection with great delicate tenderness and with the right amount of crispiness on the edges. I was especially pleased with how fresh the food was. The portion sizes were very generous and the meal we had ordered for three people was more than enough for us heavy eaters. The takeaway packaging is also good quality, they don't just bung it in takeaway polystyrene boxes they have premium aluminum packaging to keep the food warm and juicy. The prices are very reasonable and you really do get a lot of value for money. It's hard to find fresh grilled food cooked in front of you at these sort of prices so this was also attractive for us. Overall, I would give this business a 5 Star rating as I can tell that these guys are passionate about what they do and provide a very high level of service and top quality food to go with it. The only issue is - I live too far from the place so can't have it as often as I would like :P

Not new to Turkish food but this by the far tastiest Turkish food I have had anywhere in UK or Germany. We were visiting from North west London and decided to eat here before heading back, so so so happy we did. All staff, Kadir and Ibrahim were polite, generous and accommodating going above and beyond. (yes such good service we had to ask their name!) Prices are very reasonable for the food they give and the food was cooked to perfection. Donner meat is cut in various ways but whoever it was that cut this donner did so when perfectly cooked with the right thickness add crispness to the donner (not easy to do). The lamb ribs were so succulent, the lamb chops exceptional, the chicken and lamb shish simply brilliant. The meat was cooked exactly how it should be so. I am simply amazed and was not expecting such great quality and service. Being served in any business by happy employees says a lot about the owner/management, they are definitely people of outstanding character. One should be happy to spend their money at such a business where customers are valued. Simply brilliant just eat from here you won't regret it if Turkish food is what you want.

Well this is the second time I have used this kebab shop, this time we drove from ramsgate because our first experience was amazing, yet again I wasn't disappointed. Amazing food, friendly staff, and presented beautifully. If you want a really good kebab shop, this is it! Highly recommended!

Used this place for years, always been good, however tonight not impressed. No pitta bread with large chicken kebabs ( always has been previously) called to let them know it was missing to be told that large chicken shish only comes with the 1/2 wrap inside but not with any pitta. Must be new rule as last weeks and all previous ones have had both. Also one of the dishes had at least 3 hairs in the salad along with a couple of very pink looking chicken. Sad to say we need to find a new kebab shop!!

Ordered 2 mixed meat and chips. Extremely greasy, orders never 100 percent correct, twice happened now. Oil covered outer paper upon delivery. Will not be using again.

These people do not reflect the good Turkish food that you should be receiving. I found it to be more about how quickly you can be served rather than giving a cultural feast. I thought these type of places disappeared in the 80’s or latest early 90’s. Slop for drunk nightclubbers. Overall an embarrassing representation of real Turkish food.

30 mins late, missing drink, burnt yet cold on the inside? This was the third attempt! First two hours late missing drinks and cold second attempt missong drinks. Ended up binning and going via app for refund.

This place is more expensive than any other kebab I have seen in other European countries. Any place in France or Holland would offer a kebab + fries for less than 5€, not £6.5 on it's own. The doner looks like puréed meet, it tastes OKl but the texture is awful and they don't grill it enough to have an acceptable texture and a better taste. Some other dishes might be good, but the doner wouldn't even satisfy a drunk person. Hard pass for the high price an poor quality.

Took over an hour to get it after had message half hour beforehand saying it's on way! Ordered 3 sausages and chips and only got 2 sausages!

I ordered a chicken kebab which was ready in seconds and when I got it home, it was overcooked . Obviously been sitting on the grill for a day and a half waiting for someone to order one. Ordered a medium doner, which wouldn't have fed a rabbit. This a a shame as I rave about this place to one and all.

OMG food was amazing ! At first glance it looks like a average place, don’t be fooled I think you would agree some of their curry’s and pizza would put the well known brands to shame . All the food is halal , will be coming back very soon.

Order was late, kebab was cold and ice cream was melted. Called to complain and was rudely told the ice cream is obviously melted because it was with hot food. So don't order ice cream because the company lack the brainpower to deliver it.

Very quick delivery, good quality food,how ever, i always order halloumi salad pitta along with other food, I was surprised to see that I only had half the amount I normally get,checked the price I had been charged and had paid the full price for half the amount, I sell trainers for a living, how would my customer feel if they paid the full price and when they received them only got one trainer.

It’s a shame the service is so so bad as the food is pretty decent. Just one example of the service I had before I gave up using them, ordered a kebab, wrap and a burger on a Monday thinking It won’t be busy and food will be delivered in good time, took well over an hour and a half! Didn’t answer the phone either so had to go through just eat most of the time to get a response.

Chaotic, disorganized, waited 25 mins very hungry by then, finally get home and find was given wrong order! Go back and show them. Apologies finally dragged out and had to wait again! Our order was given to someone else who probably thought the firm were being generous! Food wise good. Shame they were so silly and had I not been with my husband they would have been patronising and dismissive but they changed when they realised he was with me. Ruined what was going to be a quick tasty supper. Came at 8 finally ate at 9.45 due to their muddles. It was a Friday 2 weeks ago. Can forgive being busy but not the way they handled orders. Deserve to go out of business for that. Shan't be going there for a very long time. I'm a patient soul but that was outrageous and I I'm finding it hard to forgive. A good day ruined by the bad service in the evening.
