I have been a customer of this Chinese sine the 90’s. When it was called JON’s. The food has always been great and has continued to be, especially since being renamed as New oriental as it’s now known now. But over the last six months as a valued customer, I have to say that unfortunately this place has gone downhill rapidly and it’s a crying shame!!! The food it’s average now, and seems to be getting worse. I’m not happy as this Chinese was always the best locally. I hope and look forward to seeing improvements.

First time of ordering from here. Was recommended by family. Really good experience. Go a takeaway for my dad’s 90th birthday. Was really enjoyed by everyone. Will definitely be returning 🙌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Never again! The man who owns Gaskells has ruined a lovely chippy! £2.20 for a beyond small chips! The portion sizes are tiny and the service is soooooo slow! Used to love this chippy but ruined and will never go back

This is a brilliant venue for a party, nothing too much trouble and I am fussy! Buffet was excellent, lost of positive guest comments, china plates and Silver cutlery. Lovely staff who helped set up/take down, beautiful and clean. Couldn't fault it, and a credit to the owners.

Gregg's is Gregg's but this branch is 25% more expensive than any other branch, as is the shop in petrol station. The airline £1 for 6 mins?? And it's filthy, go here if desperate! But if you can go elsewhere?

Basic restaurant so wasn’t expecting too much from previous visits but my tuna mayonnaise sandwich was poor. It came on white bread instead of brown which I ordered. I could barely see the tuna as it was spread so thinly.
