The best restaurants serving Default food in Riverside Liverpool North West

Had an amazing experience here lots of laughter and the chicken soup ie(cocktails)were the best cocktails we’ve tasted would highly recommend a visit to alcotraz

I recommend this cafe a whole lot! The food is fresh and tasty, the prices are very friendly and they have good meal deals to offer. A nice selection of coffees, teas and other hot drinks, which pair nicely with the cakes. They have a great selection of board games, so far i've only been with one other person but we still haven't scratched the surface of all the games you can play with just 2 people. would love to bring more people again. The staff are very welcoming and kind, when i was there there was a lady and another gentleman who served us, and i'd like to thank them for their good service. whenever im in Liverpool again (often), it will be a place thats in my mind to vist for sure, and i cant wait to be there again!

An incredible community pub that's unique amongst any other Liverpool pubs/bars.

Excellent! Had the mixed Doner wrap with Garlic mayo and sweet chill. Best kebab wrap I have ever had, amazingly juicy and get plenty of meat in the wrap. 100% coming back again.

We discovered this wonderful restaurant a couple of years ago and since then it has been our go to dining place in Liverpool. We are always deeply touched by the genuine warmth of welcome on each occasion by the lovely Maria.......our friends and family are always likewise impressed. Currently temporarily based in an adjoining premises during refurbishment work on her own building, the warm friendly welcome is still matched by the outstanding quality of genuine, home cooked Italian dishes. We can think of no better Italian restaurant. it is a delight to spend an evening here. Thank you again Maria for hosting such a memorable evening for us again..........and you certainly do serve the best of all Aperol Spritz !

Food and the bread on offer all top quality. Breakfast with a friend was super reasonable. Staff were lovely. It was busy but we were in no rush banging tunes on and good coffee served straight away 👍

Fantastic early dinner in Liverpool. Housemade focaccia so bouncy and rich with olive oil; fried scamorza cheese, courgettes & tahini and incredible meat and fish too. A little slow on service with quite a big gap between the later dishes. Would have loved to have dessert too but we had a show to get to so didn’t have time. The quality of the food however was excellent.

Read the review in the Liverpool Echo and decided to give this a try to celebrate our daughter getting her degree. We were made very welcome by the front of house who was very friendly and had a laugh with him. The food was excellent. I'm alergic to mussels so couldn't have them but the rest of the family said they were superb.

Although the meat was of good quality and the cinnamon pineapple was indeed amazing, nothing could make up for how the staff treated us. The male waiters were fine and accommodating, EXCEPT for the person who appeared to be the head waiter or the manager. He, along with the ladies, made us feel we overstayed and kept rushing us. We were very polite and thanked everyone after every little task they did for us while they in turn were cold and made us feel unwelcome. I looked around to see if everyone got the same treatment, but it seemed like it was just us, the only non-Europeans in the restaurant at the time. I definitely don't recommend this restaurant. At least for the non-Europeans. Spend your money elsewhere.

One of the worst meals I have ever had to buy. The rice was out of a packet. Chips were frozen. Chicken was rubby and sauce like water . My fella normal eats anything and even he complained 🤦‍♀️

£6.50 for a pint of house larger and £13 for a burger with no chips or salad. Food was nice but expensive.

Gotta love tapas! Pork belly bites were unbelievable.

Excellent place to go for somthing different, we really enjoyed the food and atmosphere of Maray. The prices are reasonable to. The food came out pretty quick and in no particular order, which wasn't the best as the carrots came out last after we finished everything else. I'd recommend upstairs as you get a good view of the dock, especially as it's going dark. We was a little disappointed the ox cheek wasn't available, but still enjoyed everything else.
