The best restaurants serving Default food in Westgate Lancaster North West

Well worth stopping here and then driving over to the promenade for a car picnic! The couple who run this chippy are lovely. Their chippy is clean and they do the best fish and chips and scampi and chips.

Always a great experience at the Hurley flyer. Staff are so efficient and very pleasant. The food is fab. Clean and nice surroundings.

Ordered three haddock and chips with mushy peas. We got cod absolutely awful. The fillet was very small. Very expensive for what you got

Ordered from Christy park, given they was busy they completely forgot our sauces. Rang back and within ten minutes the young lad had brought them with a free portion of fresh chips. Cannot fault the staff tonight what so ever!! Brill customer service 🤍

Like a lot of food outlets these days, the emphasis seems to be very much on orders received online, to the detriment of customers who actually take the time to turn up in person. The 'service' that I received was basic at best i.e make your selection, pay your money then prepare to be totally ignored for the next 15 minutes. Just a thought ... how different would it be if you were to only pay for your order when you actually received it? The food (when it finally arrived), was mediocre with the fish portion being on the small side for the price tag. Chips were ok but nothing to write home about. Fanciful packaging, which I'm sure adds significantly to the price, doesn't make up for poor value and impersonal service. This outlet could be so much better but it really needs to look hard at its front of house customer service in order to lift that experience.
