Selekt Chicken in Lancaster

Ordered through their website. Went to go collect my food and the security shutters were down and locked. Place closed. Went in the following day to ask for a new meal I paid for the day previous, said they couldn’t make me another one nor offer me a refund. ‘Manager’ apologised that the store was closed but there’s was nothing they could do and I needed to contact “orderYOYO” to get my refund. OrderYOYO said it’s nothing to do with them as I suspected. ‘Manager’ then decides to stick with the story that they were open, made the food and I just never collected. So I’ve been robbed £10 😂 Strange people

Ordered food and took 45 minutes to an hour to com. No problem here. Ordered giant grilled burger x2 which was still clucking, pink as ever., chicken poppers was rubbery. Anyway I've just rung them up and they said to me the chicken isn't pink. I said come and have a look an I'll show you it is. He was very rude and told me I won't be getting a refund.... whatever happens to the shop now is nothing to do with me! 30 quid down the drain!!

Lovely chicken, fries are too thin and wish they would start making gravy.

Really disappointed in the delivery time. This was the second time we have ordered recently and both have been late. Sent chilli cheese bites as an apology tonight but these were overdone and not particularly nice.

Food was cold and dry and was short 3 chicken strips and no coleslaw with the bucket. Was my first time ordering and I won’t order again

Very poor quality. Two pieces were dry and inedible. Obviously been out in shop for a while. One hour 10 minutes to arrive. The drink was best part of the meal. Not using these again.

Garlic bread not very garlicky. pizza a little greasy.But tasted ok would have liked option for deep pan.

Food was cold, wasn’t able to reheat so went to waste had to go in bin, me and my daughter didn’t have tea tonight because of it !!

Very disappointed. Used to be our only takeaway favourite but the last 4 times it has had so many issues. Cold, very late, low quality and wrong. We tried so many times but sadly we won't be ordering from here again. Something has gone wrong here.

Asked staff 3 times if my order was right and was asured it was correct , I waited half hr to collect ,food wasn't great and wasn't what I ordered.

i have waited over 2 hours for my order when the app has told me it has been delivered, which it hasnt. when the food came, it was very cold.

50 minutes late from when the app said it had been delivered,called shop to be told on way then had to call back after 30 minutes as still not arrived,when arrived the food was freezing,not one apology

Easily the worst food place in all of Morecambe….extremely poor hygiene from unruly staff…..you are much better off going to the fish and chip place next door Food: the fried chicken cooked from frozen is rubbery and fried too fast to cook properly, you would rather stay hungry than eat from here, the only items I can recommend is the sealed can of drinks or sauces, at least they’ll be clean Hygiene: In store you will regularly see the staff scratching their head and armpits during the food prep and often without gloves or head cap, hygiene rating needs to be reviewed as a matter of urgency by the authorities Attitude: they feel incredibly entitled as if they are doing you a favour by providing third class food

Fries are better than most from other brands wow and the chicken 🫶

This really is thr best chicken shop I've ever been too and I've been to a few! its actually BETTER THAN KFC!! Hands down. crunchy outside but nice a white fluffy chicken inside. chips are delightful! so good!! Never go anywhere else. 👍👍👍👍👍

Delivery was early again which is always a bonus and food was perfect as usual.

no food ever arrived, delayed the delivery time twice and then ended with saying it had been delivered, called the restraunt and the phone didnt even ring before ending the call.

We’ve been ordering from here for a while and never had any issues. They have even been great when we have made a mistake when ordering. Really good quality food, one of our favourite places to get a cheeky takeaway.

Food here never disappoints, glad that they also ring incase anything pops up or need confirmation and aren’t dismissive or ignorant like other places. Chicken here is so good and chips with red salt are delish. Go to place and good prices.

Came early and food was piping hot. Really lovely chicken burgers and chicken pieces. Fries are big portions

Arrived 12:15 midnight. Ordered 10pm

I was due my food 40 minutes ago. Still nothing and the app is now saying to enjoy my food as it’s been delivered. Clearly this has been delivered to the wrong address and the restaurant is not answering phone. I am furious as that is £20 gone for now reason when I’ve been sat here waiting for my food 😡

absolutely disgusting restaurant. food was hour and half late delivery, turned up cold. owner of restaurant argued with me on the phone about the food being hot instead of offering. I had to go to the restaurant and still he argued after sticking his unwashed fingers in the chicken telling me tepid food is hot. refused to refund or recook the order until I persisted he had to do something because he has now handled the food. NEVER ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT. waste of money and time
