The best restaurants serving Default food in Central Hyndburn North West

We'd been paintballing and wanted some food on our way home. We went into The Acorn as my wife really wanted a club sandwich and looking at the menu online saw they did one. It's a spacious comfy place with a good range in the menu. My stepdaughter wanted 2 starters so got the mac n cheese and some chicken strips, whilst my wife had the club and I had fish and chips. Within seconds of ordering online, staff had come over to ask if we wanted the starters as main. The food came quickly and was piping hot. The fish and chips were good, however I wished it came with a slice of bread. Everyone else said their's was good. The only tiny issues were when the door opened it let in a freezing cold air as there's a front door with a lobby then a door into the premises, however the front door was permanently open. It's also a single door into the venue so if there's a queue of people entering or exiting you have to wait till they have passed. That aside, not bad for for not a bad price.

would’ve loved to chow down on my chicken burger that i order, however second time now i have paid for my order only for the driver to not deliver it again. I would take a picture but as there’s no food i have nothing to take one of. very disappointed and very hungry.

Being into this greggs twice in two days for a cheese baguette and still none. The excuse is no tomatoes. Staff don't care or want to know. With the very limited vegetarian bagette (ie only 1) option, you could at least go to farm foods next door and fork out 50p for tomatoes. Just typical greggs from my experience.

worst place in accrington , turned up cold and dried out tried to ring 2hours before there closing time answerphone said closed? kebab that bad even my dog wouldnt eat it and stale dry chips disgusting REPORTING TO COUNCIL FOR FOOD AND HYGENE RATINGS TASTED LIIKE DOG FOOD .UNLESS YOU LIKE DOG FOOD AVOID !!!! i worked in a takeway for 10 years until i retired so i know the difference between good and bad food!! THIS PLACE NEEDS CLOSING DOWN

I ordered a chicken burger and the chicken inside was pinkish red. It wasnt cooked properly and was stiff to bite into

* food is not healthy and full of chemicals * service is self service *Atmosphere is not to my liking Toilets were not particularly nice and were smelly. Never again.

Would not serve me at the 2 tills, said the only way to order was on the screens, I said I wanted to pay cash and knew what I wanted. Was told that the only way to order was on the screen, this was the only option, so I left and went to the Burnley restaurant, and paid there at that till,,. There was only 3 customers in the Accrington restaurant and I can understand why.

Every time I ring and order my food for collection it’s a different price. Apparently even when you ring the restaurant directly, collect your order and pay cash they are adding a surcharge. (This was the explanation I was given when I queried the price increase. I believe this is illegal!! People are struggling with the cost of living and when they treat their family to a takeaway they are being ripped off. It’s disgusting and downright wrong. I have banned all my family from going here. If you work hard for your money don’t line the pockets of these people. They don’t deserve our money. 😡

Yo sushi lady, was extremely helpful, ringing me up to explain they didn't have the sushi I ordered available at the time, so she gave me other options to choose from, which match the cost of the order. she was very kind and helpful, which was brilliant. Thanks
