They said they didn't have more than 6 pieces of chicken available. So cobbled together a mixture of items to put together enough food that cost more than the party bucket I wanted. Then they have the order to someone else! So we had to make do with whatever they had left. Just totally inept

You would think KFC would understand the understand the concept of running a chicken shop and they used to + now there are more chicken shops to compete with, you would think they would be keen to position themselves above the others… but when you “go large” just putting one small bag of chips doesn’t provide any level of customer satisfaction especially when you also forget to include the gravy that was ordered. Also, there are no soda drinks available without artificial sweeteners - so much instead ordered a coffee (cappuccino) that seemed to be lacking any coffee - and was just like a warm weak milky foam drink… The chicken was tiny - so how did it manage to have so many broken bones fit in there? No Joy to be had there either… and also no lemon wipes available to clean greasy fingers with. This review might be dismal but I’m sure the Colonel would have given a harsher review than this…

Quiet ordered tower zinger burger fries coffee and bbq chicken bites. I was very surprised as it only my 5th time visiting a KFC. I've never had a good experience or food . So when I got what I ordered it was very tasty doesn't mean I'm converted im not .

Absolute rip off. I ordered a large two piece chicken meal today which came to £8. When I got home one of the pieces of chicken was just a little bigger than a chicken wing, the top of my fork was bigger (see photo). I love KFC but can’t justify spending my hard earned on unreasonable portions. Disgusting that a piece of chicken so small was passed onto a customer. Avoid this branch if you’re hungry, never again.

I was a bit surprised how quiet it was and I can understand why. The chips were cold and the chicken was just about warm enough. We asked for it to be warmed up, the managers attitude was very poor, he basically said take it or leave it. We decided to get a refund, it seemed like the manager had a chip on his shoulder.

Accrington KFC. First, I had to wait 15mins for drive through chicken bucket. "we're very busy" according to the staff yet the indoor counter and car park were empty and only 2 cars in the drive through queue. Got it home and as soon as I smelled it I knew something was wrong, the chicken coating tasted burned but wasn't. Something has obviously been badly burned in the fryer oil and they've not bothered changing it. Absolutely disgusting, it's in the bin bar one piece in case what I ate makes me ill. Seriously, don't go here, you'll regret it.

Visited on my way home after a very long day. Usually go to Burnley if we fancy a KFC but the Accrington one was on my way home. I paid £19.99 for a boneless feast but when I got home we had been given a bucket with 2 pieces of original chicken, 2 mini fillets and 2 chicken wings - not 8 fillets!!! Absolutely no point ringing them cause there was no way I was going to do another 10 mile round trip! Do yourselves a favour, skip this KFC and go to Burnley!

Me and my partner came here on the 22/06/23. We ordered our meal off the machine with cash card. When we went to the till they said it hadn't gone through but it took the money out of our bank. The manager a young girl said she would take our nam wand we went t away hungry and £21 poorer. Because of work and other commitments we could go back for 4 weeks when we did they said they had no record of it and we would have to complain to hard office. The service from this Accrington branch is terrible I would never go here again two wasted journeys

Parked up, took time to decide what we wanted, went in restaurant had to wait 20 mins for food, went back to car, ate food = 68 mins. Fined by car park for being there too long. Great company- never go again

Dry, tasteless. Part of order missing which only noticed when got home. This happens a lot especially at this KFC. Waited ages for the order, after all these years they still dont know their busy times. Wont be going again. Making my own in my airfyer which tastes a darn site better than the dry rubbish served from here

I’ve returned from work and have had KFC on my mind all day. I opened the app ready to order but it won’t let me set my exact location for delivery and won’t let me continue ordering!! What a load of rubbish KFC. The McDonald’s app let me order without any issues so I will stick to them from now on. P.S your chicken is always dry anyway 😎

Surely they know their busy times. Went just after 7pm to the drive thru. Only 4 cars in front of me. Waited almost an hour to order my food and in that time because I was parked waiting by the entrance, the same delivery driver came back twice and took orders while I hadn’t moved in the queue. The chicken was lovely but you need to get your act together and look after all customers whether that be eat in, takeaway and drive thru as from what I saw the takeaway took priority over people that made the effort to go and order

Last few times have been utterly disappointing!! Ordered the gravy box a month or so ago, got it home only to discover the gravy was missing... not sure how that happens when the clue is in the name. On our last visit a couple of days ago I ordered the Mega box which should have included a large fries of which I most definitely didn't get a large fries. Will definitely not be returning!! Like someone has previously mentioned its like playing a game of roulette when you go to this place.

Accrington KFC had just opened up its drive thru today. I was very excited for my first KFC meal after months of not having it and me and my dad queued for a while. We came home looking forward to eat our meal but we got the wrong order and of course couldn’t go back! Horrified!

Just collected a 10 piece Bargain Bucket from KFC for £14.99 at 5pm. Used the drive through but due to a shortage of prepared Chicken we had to wait in the car park.Been buying bargain buckets for donkeys years so when we got home we were very disappointing to find that instead of 10 chicken breast and legs we had 4 breast, four legs and TWO very small wings! The chicken we had was as expected but the chips had clearly been hanging around whilst further chicken was cooked and were binned. We will not be returning to this outlet.

Had a really busy day so decided I would nip KFC on the way home. Ordered food was in the drive through for a good 15 minute. When I eventually got home (I didn’t check my order, didn’t think I’d have to for ONE meal?) it was completely wrong. I ordered a mighty bucket meal so was expecting two hot wings, two Original pieces and 2 hot wings. Only had two original piece recipe chicken which must have been sat there for a good 12 hour. I wouldn’t even feed my dog the chicken it was that bad! Spent £8 for some fried and a drink basically. Usually alright but won’t ever order from the Accrington one again

This KFC is one of the best, the food is always nice and hot for a takeaway and the gravy is amazing, the new style chips are also very good

When you visit KFC it should be a case of what you see is what you get... Fried Chicken... surely we have all tasted that one KFC that is fantastic and keeps you going back.... Not the case in Accrington. Very poor. The staff are very miserable and its reflected on the food. Came to try out the I ❤️ bacon burger with my vegan daughter. The burger was lovely but they had no rice boxes or veggie option available so my daughter couldn't eat.

Yes it does ( IT ALL STARTS WITH A APPETITE FOR LIFE ) this is the second Thursday we have called into this KFC and have really enjoyed our lunch, whilst out shopping. It was the same cashier who served us both times, she is called Georgie, and was very helpful and friendly. Last week we both had the chicken wraps and drinks, this week we tried the mega box and drinks, and again very tasty and plentiful. Finger lickin good. Enjoy

We ordered boneless banquet, chicken rice salad and 3 pieces with hot wings - all large - Order was placed at drive through and was told to park and wait, when it arrived most of order was missing as usual, we only got the salad and fries, none was ready when had to go in to complain so had to wait, when got home the fries were not large and were absolutely awful, cold soggy and not nice at all. As someone previously said we try this place because it’s local but they’re always missing things off and it’s usually cold, this is the last time we will visit

We keep trying here because it's local, but they nearly always miss something off our order. The 'chips' are horrendous since they changed from fries! Unfortunately same at all outlets. Get your chicken here and nip down to MacDonald for their fries! Staff always pleasant though.

Came here during the week to take food out. When I got there, there was only one person in front of me and no one else there. I waited 10 minutes to be served. I ordered a 3 piece meal for one, a boneless banquet for one and a zinger burger. When I got home I found that I had only been given two pieces of chicken, they were also cold, very dry and also barley any chicken on them! The boneless banquet came with a regular side of beans . They tub was only half full. I didn’t actually eat any of them, I just use the sauce for dipping. But when I finished that there was only about a teaspoon of actual beans in the pot anyway.

Had to stop going because the whole place was filthy. Food left on floor and tables , Staff defo not up to scratch on Health and safety.Foof was warm and dry. This is obviously being made and left waiting for customers to arrive,However never anybody in it so food hours old.

Absolutely the worst KFC experience of my life, start to finish rude with customers in front of us, talking abnormally loudly when taking your order, and to top it off stone cold food! When asked to see the manager I was told he’s too busy, and then when I pressed the matter, he came over smirking, no apology, my wife asked for a refund and said okay and he was gone.

This KFC must be one of the worst in the country. Personally I wouldn't visit but pressure from the kids makes it hard to avoid. Rarely have I visited when they haven't run out if something be it gravy, Krushems or believe it or not chicken....sometimes it's all of the above.

Took about 20 mins in drive thru, then to be sat around for about 15 minutes to wait for food. Ordered a drink which went all over me because lid was not on properly and also had a scrunched up receipt in bottom of my popcorn chicken box!

Not enough staff working, 10 minute wait on food, 20 minute wait in a queue just to get served. Staff go about their jobs at the slowest possible speed and having only 1 till open on Saturday evening baffles me.

This KFC has improved over the years. Love my hot wings . I use my rewards card on my iPhone . It’s a great way to save too for next time .

With being local to KFC in Accrington, over the years this place has been quite awful from the quality of food and the poor customer service. However, my last two visits have been much better. The quality of food has been better and staff have been much more pleasant with the speed of putting my order together being much quicker too.

I understand that KFC is a franchise and that they have different standards at different restaurants but the difference can be quite amazing and this is one of the poorest I've visited. I love a good KFC but Accrington's does leave a lot to be desired and I will visit the Colne outlet more often than the one in my own town.

This isnt a very well run KFC. Ive visited a few in my time and this is the worst yet. Always running out of simple stuff like napkins and sporks etc. Food is standard KFC offerings but just winds me up when it is so badly run.

Where do I start with this place? I ordered 4 meals and at least the kids enjoyed theirs. The Tower Fillet burgers looked like a blind person had put them together. The chicken was half off the burger and the hash brown was as well. The fries were cold and the diet cola flat. You’d think such a simple meal wouldn’t be hard to make, but apparently it’s much more difficult than you’d think!

Not the first time this branch of KFC have got my order wrong, but decided to give it another try tonight. Should have left immediately when they told me that they didn't have any gravy. Didn't instil me with a great deal of confidence when I saw pieces of chicken on the floor (behind the serving counter)that had been walked on and not picked up by staff members. My 10 piece Bargain bucket contained only 8 pieces (took our order home). Rang 9 times in 1 hour to express my disappointment; without a single person answering the phone. Note to self - Steer clear of KFC Accrington.

They had no drinks despensor and had poured the drinks into the cups from bottles. The drinks were flat. The alternatives offered were poor and they couldn't give me a bottle of pop as it wasn't included in the meal.

Ok but could be better . My zinger box meal had brown lettuce on and i had to wait ages for the whole of my order. Not busy lets see what happens next time .

Visiting relatives in the area we stopped in Accrington for a while and and near Asda a large supermarket went 25 November Saturday dinnertime into KFC diner asking for chicken breasts and chips told there was only one and big queue behind us goodness knows what they ate beggars belief fish n chips ha ha. Very strange stupid young man obviously either very much waste of space no alternative no apology walked away after shrugging his shoulders as we stood their like lemons where do these kfc members of staff come from I wonder and why do they get employed when they do not want to serve you or offer sloppy service bad attitude and is there no cook to cook more chicken if it runs out Saturday afternoon who on earth manages this kfc Donald duck micky mouse or just stupid ignorant people. All we wanted was some chicken breasts or similar told only wing leg and we do not like dark meat nor do we want scraps of food first and last time we visit kfc or this filthy cafe out shoes were sticking to unclean floor which was sticky dirty and wet and recommend people to to Brickwork restaurant up the road or large cafe in Accrington Asda up the road

Went last night large Q inside and drive through busy waited outside for 15 mins and orders not being taken . Car behind me backed out and so did I , shocking service not fast food

We got to this KFC and decided to go inside as the drive through was very busy. The queue inside was no less than two people so we got served pretty quick, after ordering our food we ended up waiting 25 min for it to be ready after a number of people got their food in front of us I ended up asking what the hell is going on! The staff where stood around and at points not a single person was serving customers for a good 5 min. I won't be returning to this KFC again as it seems it's run by very unorganised people!

Went to the drive thru was trying to place my order and kept being interrupted by the rude assistant a young lad called Cameron -when I told him to let me finish wish he just retaliated and said "I have to hurry up" -whatever happened to customer service????He obviously didn't want to be there but if you are taking g the wages you should do the job to the best if your ability. This is not the first time I have been served by rude impatient staff -they don't seem to realise if it wasn't for customers they wouldn't have a job! Whenever I do go I do go I always have to check my order before leaving as it is invariably wrong. I know it's not necessarily where people want to work forever and these young people are probably students working part time but take some positives from your work and apply it to other areas further down the line when you do get your dream job -although with attitudes like that I wouldn't employ them.

Visited here before the cinema with family- shared a triple bucket meal.Place was very clean, staff friendly and food served quickly and freshly cooked - yum!

Went for a take away and got what I ordered . Last time which was some time ago I surrendered as 2 of my orders were wrong . This time we have been a few times over the last month and been very good. Well done keep it going . Just one slight comment when we sat in the tables needed attending to more frequently .

Called in for take away family meal. Fast drive through service. When we got the meal home still piping hot and typical KFC good quality. Good value for money.

I don't often review a fast food chain but I feel I have to get it off my chest & hopefully the management will listen to the unhappy customers (judging from the TA reviews there are many).I hate using KFC Accrington. The drive through is a joke & takes forever to get served likewise queuing inside the restaurant & my order is often incorrectI've eaten in many KFC restaurants around the world & this has been my worst experience, in struggling to find any positives. I hope it can improve for the better or consider a major overhaul.

Want inside as queue was so long in drive through, but while waiting ( which was a 14 min wait ) watched a girl spray the services behind the counter where staff were putting food on so the spray went onto the chicken, looked at another customer who was waiting both commented that cannot believe she had just done that, both decided to leave as food now contaminated. Staff scratching themselves then not washing hands, had someone in to look at toilets as one broken, asked for a member of staff to show them something , when she came out straight away put an order together without again washing hands. Tables not clean and food bits all over floor and outside in carpark. Horrified by lack of hygiene,thought they were trained in this! Will not go to this one again

I love KFC chicken but I've given up on this place. Its a 50/50 chance if you get what you ordered and that your food is even edible. Personally, I wouldnt gamble it, save your money and go somewhere else where the odds are higher! If you do decide to risk it, check your order, check your change and get a receipt before you leave!

Well been in this particular restaurant a couple of time cleanliness is just totally absent .Staff obnoxious honestly no redeeming quality at all .Did email the KFC brand to be advised they were excellent but they would retrain the staff fail as this place is even dirtier.Sooner they get shut down the better

Went to for a meeting in Accrington are KFC was recommended, unfortunately overall cleanliness need improvement one of the drinks dispensers wasn't working no sign on it to say staff needed to pass the word between each other when they went to use it, chicken lukewarm and the chips were supposed to be a large got equivalent of a small scoop full and cold when got them.Not back in hurry

If you fancya KFC, drive to Blackburn or Burnley. Food is awlways cold and rarely get the order correct. The last time we visited we went to the drive thru and when my partner took his box out of the bag all the contents fell all over the floor waste of money and what could of been prevented by 5 more seconds of care by the staff. I would avoid this restaurant as KFC isn't really a cheap visit for alleged 'fast food'

We called in to KFC tonight . My hubby, my daughter, grandson and myself. Walked through the door directly behind a couple. We waited to order, but the male of the couple in front sat at a table near the window. My husband and grandson sat at table next but one ( also near the window). Once the lady in front had placed her order, she moved over and my daughter placed our order. The couple who entered the restaurant in front of us both sat down and commenced eating. A member of staff came from behind counter and began clearing tables etc. ,while chatting to said couple. As we got our food, a member of staff told us they were cleaning the restaurant "on that side" !!?? As we were already seated and began to share our food, AND the other couple were still happily eating, we did too. Seconds later a female member of staff came to us and told us to move to other side of restaurant. I turned to the other couple and said " what's the problem ? We have been sat here since we came in. Her reply " I want to get home sometime tonight". My family began to move, as requested. I was incensed, as the other couple were not told to move, just us . One table divided us. I asked again " What is the problem. Why are we being moved and not that couple? The staff member's response was to ignore me completely. I dislike rudeness and that was what the staff member was. I also dislike discrimination and we were being treated that way . The management need to train their staff in manners and communication. I didn't make a scene tonight ( at the request of my family, who were with me). However, I will not be treated the same way again, without sorting it out there and then! The "other couple" ate their meal in peace. , in the area that was "closed" and went off to do their shopping at Lidl. How nice for them !!!!!!! Staff member who rudely told us she wanted to get home was still there when we finally left...chatting to colleagues as if she had all the time in the world.

Every time I go to kfc in Accrington they get the order wrong. It really isn't that hard, other branches seem to manage. The worst kfc I've been to for getting things so wrong.

The best thing you can do is go for one of their box meals! They are good value and tasty.Sometimes the chicken is a bit greasy, but for what you pay, its fine!

The male member of staff was rude and didn't understand what I was saying to him. When I got home I found that he had left out one of the drinks and both the dips. I wouldn't go there again and feel aggrieved that my meal was disappointing. Do the company actually want customers?

This place on my visit was not a welcome place. I went with my wife, our eldest daughter and her children for a meal on bank holiday monday to sit in. The que to order was rather lengthy but due to the holiday we expected that. What we did not expect was after 10 mins you begin to notice how dirty the place is. Food overflowing from the two bins and dirty marks all over the floor like its not been cleaned in ages. I was stood in the que with my daughter when her daughter came up to us with a baby wipe that was black as my wife had gone to the trouble of cleaning the table she was sat at. Went for a KFC which h I love about 6 months ago and found the chicken overcooked and small. I thought that it may have been a bad experience so I went again last month. Right where do I start 1) cold food / missing items2) restaurant area not kept on top of3) kids, why the heck do they employ a bunch if kids. This is the thing that really gets on my nerves. I enjoy the greasy indulgence of an occasional kentucky. However I was really irritated to find that having waited for 10 mins to get my meal using drive through, when I opened the bag, there was no spoon napkin or wipes or salt. Really irritating.

I use KFC regularly as I prefer it to most of the take away food chains. I use it every month both for myself on my own and for the family.

This must be the worst kfc around it is always dirty inside. The chicken is always dripping in grease and the sides always cold won't be going back.

went here for a lunchtime visit with my son...good variety of food and they do a 2 for £10 Offer..food came quickly and was hot and very tasty....the deserts were yumeee ..I chose a lemon mousse cake and my son had a mint sundae...a nice friendly atmosphere ,we will be visiting again shortly...

The service is always very slow in this KFC,But my main gripe is the cleanliness ,it's bloody filthy you always have to wipe the tables and chairs before you sit down,the floors are always dirty and the Windows usually have greasy finger prints all over them,They used to have a guy cleaning up but he seems to have left and you can tell!

Slow service, rude, missing items from order - and probably the worst quality meal I've ever had. 0 out of 10. The bad attitude is reflected in the quality of what is being served. Obviously something is really broken at Accrington KFC. Avoid.

Quick, friendly service, shame they have the bins so prominently displayed next to where you order food! Mmm, very appetising!
