The best restaurants serving Default food in North Manor Bury North West

Food was ok as was the service and value for money. Really put off by the dog that kept yapping behind us and the child that was banging cutlery onto a plate repeatedly but not being stopped by parents. Dogs should not be in the dining area

Very disappointed with our visit. We arrived as a family hoping to enjoy breakfast whilst my granddaughter played outside on the tractor. It wasn’t initially made clear that there are two separate menus for either eating in the conservatory or sitting directly outside the conservatory. Ok, one family member is vegetarian….do you have a vegetarian option for sitting outside? The young girl looked at me like I’d landed from Mars, so I asked the question again. She told me again about two different menus, but didn’t answer my question. After a further 5 minutes, it was concluded that a vegetarian can have scrambled egg on toast, but … only if you sit in the conservatory??? Come on, it’s 2025, at least have a veggie sausage available for a breakfast barm. Yes I know you’re a farm shop, but it’s not difficult to offer an alternative option. Helpful, friendly staff would also be a bonus We won’t be rushing back which is a shame because it’s a lovely spot, but I do feel it does need to get with the times

Finally the sun came out and we were able to sit outside and take in the beautiful views. I had the stuffed chicken which was amazing and my partner had the pork belly. Both meals cooked perfectly and as always the service was fantastic by all the team! We will be back, Hopefully for more sun!!

We went in to watch the football.Staff are very nice and let us borrow a pack of cards in addition they chat about football.drinks are cheap

Service in cafe was atrocious and very disappointing

I ordered 2 items off them and it took them 2 hours to deliver my food even though I live 5 minutes away from them!! I ordered at 19:05 and got my food at 21:15

Went here reluctantly as we find them mainly noisy and more than slightly grubby. What a surprise. The place is spotless and relaxing snd the management team seemed switched on a caring. This is not the norm at other carveries of theirs. Well do e The food was excellent too..and we didn’t see any ancient oak trees being vandalised either Always a bonus…

I always come to this chippy when I'm in the area and the food & service is always good. However todays experience was not the usual nice experience. This is not a review about the food as this was 10/10 as per usual, the service is what has let this visit down. It was very busy when we visited and I understand that given the noise level when you ordering things can be missed, we are all human. When I pointed out a missing item I was told by the lady that took my order that "you didn't order one " in a really rude manner, now there is a big difference in someone not hearing something and someone not ordering something. It felt like the lady wanted to have an argument about it. Yes this is a popular chippy and a very good one but I think the owner needs to train her staff in customer service. The correct answer should have been "I'm sorry I didn't hear you ask for a buttered muffin, let me sort that out for you". Instead I was left stood there in disbelief being made to feel like I was lying. What made it worse was that the owner was stood right there let her staff member treat a customer in that way, she just stood there letting her staff member go back and forth over a buttered muffin!!!!
