The best restaurants serving Default food in Parkfield and Oxbridge Stockton-on-Tees North East

This is under now ownership, tloved the previous owner so was bit bit worried when she sold up. The new owner has worked very hard on a revamp of the cafe, menu and staff. It is still very friendly and budget friendly too, they do all the cafe food you would expect but they specialise in home made cheese cake. Lots of different flavours, most days will have 2 different ones, if they are not to your taste come back the next day for 2 different flavours. My fave is still the vegetarian breakfast

Went on the brewery tour yesterday, had a great night. Beers very nice. Would recommend going on the tour, the team were very friendly.

The sunday lunch was just like homemade, perfectly cooked nice and hot ....absolutely yummy just like my mam used to make!! Be sure to book!!

We have had many orders delivered and posted from the sweetie fairy deliveries which we have always been extremely happy with. Today we visited the sweetie fairy deliveries van at the local community market. Our daughter especially loved it! They have such a fantastic range of sweets, drinks and confectionery available. Always ordered from here since it’s been open, ordered the viral Dubai chocolate I was in two minds because of the price. I hate to complain but it was poor. Nothing like the real thing, it’s rock solid and tastes stale. Disappointed 😩

Ordered sandwich wrap and fries, the woman that served me was very blunt and rude. The sauce was placed in the wrap before placing the chicken plus it wasn't even wrapped properly which meant the wrap fell apart, all the sauce leaked out over my clothes and car not only that but the tortilla was luke warm at best. Poor service.

Went with a work colleague when working locally. What a brilliant find. Good honest food at an honest price. Wasnt rushed out of the door . Would certainly go again if nearby. Try it folks its worth it.

Very poor burgers. Seemed to be a combination of poor quality meat that was overcooked which removed all fat resulting in a cardboard dry burger. Bacon was also not cooked well and cheese was sparse. The beetroot slaw was nice but spilled in the container and saturated half the burger bun. Plant based burger not much better and had no jalapeño sauce as advertised. Fries were fantastic but sadly that was the only real positive. Sticky toffee pudding did taste great initially but the amount of undissolved sugar in the sauce overwhelmed all flavour. I come from Manchester with a very high standard of burger places so I may be biased but these prices are the same which is why I'm leaving this review.

Came to the Pit Stop for breakfast with my Son. It did not disappoint. The food was delicious, the staff very friendly, I would highly recommend it as a place to eat.

Very disappointed. Having only stopped ordering as hygiene rating 1. Best Mexican parmo & lovely wedges previously. Tonight half wedges & parmo half size. Cheese garlic bread ordered only garlic bread came. We will be ordering else where from now on😣

Handy spot in the small industrial estate frequented by workers from the jnits nearby. Very popular especially over the lunch hour. Great choice on the menu, to eat in or take out & pretty quick service too. The food is definitely OK but where they fall down on each & every occasion I have been there is in clearing the tables! This doesn't seem to be a priority for them at all. Many many times I have had to clear away the debris from someone's previous lunch before I can be seated to have mine! Otherwise they have everything going for them.
