The best restaurants serving Default food in Ashington Central Northumberland North East

Run by volunteers as a warm space centre. Limited food but what they have is good and made in the premises. Staff are very friendly, would recommend this place.

Our first visit but it won’t be our last. Called in for a coffee and decided to have a sandwich. Chicken and bacon with mayo. Best I’ve had for taste it was delicious and great value. Nice surroundings and very helpful staff

The service is cheerful and good and there's always space found for one more even when the place seems full. There are regulars who make people, who come for the first tme, very welcome. The food is incredibly good and reasonably priced. For anyone who cannot afford to pay for meals, there is a fabulus bowl of broth with a bun. Everyone is welcome and tea, coffee and biscuits are provided for whatever donation you feel like giving.

Had a lovely 3 course meal at dinner time. The service was excellent. Would definitely recommend trying Girasole restaurant.

First time we have ordered since the Taj has had new owners. Service was good, order was ready in time.Food was excellent, portions bigger than before and the meat was more succulent, peshwari nans were beautiful. Could have done with some yogurt sauce with the main meal (tandoori cocktail) as my husband stole some of mine but overall very happy with our takeaway thank you keep up the good work

The food is consistently beautiful, the service is second to none! It's a real family restaurant, they treat our children as they would in Italy. We go back time and time again for every special occasion. Thank you once again, Toscana! 😍

Friendly Promt service Lovely and clean Very good value for money

Regular customer weekly and never an issue. Apart from last night delivery due at 8 for the kids tea but unfortunately it came 3hrs later. After delivery time passed I called numerous times and not answered apart from 2 which was then just put straight down. So no food to eat last night and a waste of money very Unhappy. To then review my cctv this morning and when the driver delivered 3 hours late he just left the food on the door step and I found it this morning.

Had to wait fourty minutes outside the shop for the our order, was told twenty minutes went back in and then got told another £20, nothing for inconvience, will not be back.

This place is my number 1. It was an absolute pleasure to host a 3 year remembrance meal for my late partner. 13 of us attended and the young lad who was either an apprentice or temp job was brilliant. Aaron I believe he was called. I will definitely be back soon and I think this place should be filled daily. Keep this ashington treasure open forever....
