Great place, nice food and great pint

Quiet before 10pm drinks expensive bur great atmosphere at any time!!

Google says i was here but I just passed by on the other side of the street meaning that I have no complaints. Also nothing made it stand out from any of the other buildings around me (beyond Google asking for a review). My rating - an average building on the street.

There for an 80th birthday and it was excellent. Clean, spacious and efficient staff.

Modern, funky decor in the centre of town with a massive selection of drinks and service with a smile!! Great pub!!!

Alan has a great bar here with good prices, friendly bar staff, and a good atmosphere.

I didnt eat just popped in as my husband kept telling me how lovely it is inside. He wasn't wrong, lovely staff and not full of young kids like a lot of bars in the area. Beautifully decorated.

Absolutely amazing Sunday lunch, piping hot and all fresh veg , and lovely sorting and so friendly , highly recommended

5 of us for Sunday dinner. Absolutely great.Plenty food, tasty and hot. Recommended . Will be back through the week to try something off the week menu.

it gets you drunk. all that matters. never actually had a one night stand here so it’s not the best place if you’re after loose ladies. classy ladies aren’t my thing

Had first Sunday lunch delivered was delivered when they said it would be and absolutely lovely best one I've had so far delivery driver was really canny too

Fantastic sunday lunch and the cheesecake is divine

Quirky hidden gem, a must vist establishment! Only negative is it's downstairs. Wonderfully decorated with an extensive gin collection and if gin is not your tipple then there's plenty of other choices including draft beers. The toilets are bright, clean, with a pleasant aroma and a lock on the door! While I did not try the food I plan to in the future, the menu has a great variety of meals to choose from. The barman and his partner are very friendly, welcoming people and have a good knowledge of local history. Which I very much enjoyed hearing about. Definitely by far the best bar/restaurant in Ashington.

This is a quiet pub not hard to see why. Advertised sport but make sure you're in on the day the bar person can change the channel Went for Europe League football as advertised and despite being very quiet it wasn't on. Bar person didn't have a clue how to change channel! Turn off for me and I left Not one for the sports fans

The owner is a legend and is built like arnie and groomed like a kardashian one handsome 40 something year old with a fleet it vibrant young staff willing to serve your every will.visually stunning based in Ashington but feels like 5 star establishment some would say another world maybe Alan's wotld lol. But guys great bar great staff lush fresh food and drinks are top notch enjoy

Food is not what I would expect over priced and when you get all day breakfast you only get chips bacon and sausage and beans and egg very disappointed will not be eating again here

Stunning decor, never been in for years and was well impressed.

Back again just to make sure I hadnt dreamt that the food was lovely. I had to have quiche again but Tony had steak suet pie crust. OMG amazing!!! Sorry, eaten too quickly for photos. Oh and we were fighting over the coleslaw so had to get a second dish

Fantastic bar with a weekend late licence... Friendly staff and owner, Clean, Request friendly djs, Clean and comfortable booths to sit at, Infinitely less likely to catch hepatitis from the toilets than the other late bar.

Decent pub. Open later than most in town.

Basement bar, great selection of drinks with a good atmosphere and bar games. Karaoke on certain nights.

If you want to a have a drink with a fab choice and in lovely surroundings it's the place to be. With good music and Disco on Saturday nites & Sunday nites it's Karaoke with great singers an music for everyone. Not forgetting the brilliant host Alan.

We come here especially for the abuse. The owner is down to earth and can have a laugh with. Through the week, it's a good place to come for a quiet pint then at the weekend it's fab for dancing! Best of both world's! Keep the abuse up Al!

Been coming to the station lounge for years... It's perfect for a quiet pint after work and a chat to the friendly bar staff.

Go to the station if you like to be sworn at and want to know what its like to be a sardine. On the website it states vapes are allowed and when I went Saturday there were several people using them. The problem was when I used mine. I was being give disgusted looks off the old ugly blond woman behind the bar. I had the bouncer stand a few feet away staring at me as a barman told me I was "taking the piss". I do not appreciate being sworn at or being made to feel uncomfortable. Being able to use my vape was the only reason I USED to come here. The music is terrible and the place is tiny. Even with only a few people its cramped. The pool table hasn't been set up properly. Well done, you have just lost a regular bye.
