The food is consistently beautiful, the service is second to none! It's a real family restaurant, they treat our children as they would in Italy. We go back time and time again for every special occasion. Thank you once again, Toscana! 😍

We booked a table for 6pm, person on other end of phone confirmed the booking, we arrived at 5:50 for them to say we had no booking, obviously very upset we left and went elsewhere, 30 minutes later we received a phone call wondering where we were, we explained what happened and then i was called a Liar multiple times, man in the phone was very rude and refused to believe we came in. Fabulous food..monkfish superb.. Best home made garlic bread I've ever had.. & tiramasu Lovely wine.. Service friendly welcoming &quick.. .. Went with mum in a wheelchair & very accommodating.. Also happy to split a meal for my grandchildren.. Would definitely recommend..

My wife and I were here with two very old friends to mark our 50th wedding anniversary The staff were attentive and efficient, and the food and wines were excellent. We had completely forgotten the generous size of the portions - far larger than I had expected, especially the starters! 😏 Update: my wife and I returned this Sunday lunchtime, on our 51st wedding anniversary. Everything is just as good as it was last year!

This wasn’t really my thing. If the cosy family restaurant vibe is your thing then you will like it. Food wise I was very unimpressed, the veal wasn’t very nice and was drenched in some sort of unnecessary sauce. Although, the roast potatoes that came with it were done very well. The service was good though, and found that the staff were helpful getting in and out with little ones wheelchair (as their doors were not easy to manoeuvre through). Parking wasn’t great either.

Another great night with good food, good wine, excellent service and a fantastic atmosphere.

Great Italian in Sidcup. I love the old fashioned decor and the wonderful Food helps too. Brilliant fast and friendly service.

Best Italian I have ever been to, I went for the Filleto Di Manzo with Duck Patè Sauce. Steak was cooked to perfection and putting Duck Patè sauce with steak is the best thing since sliced bread! The cocktails are also recommended! Oh and make sure you go with an empty belly....

Went for a meal yesterday, my word, it was lovely. A traditional family run restaurant, freshly cooked food, great ambiance. The portions were very substantial. A wonderful place.

Just like sitting in a family restaurant in Italy ,with the atmosphere and buzz that goes with it , great choice of food all well cooked and presented ,with very attentive staff making sure everything is as it should be for a completely enjoyable dining experience. Things I noticed ,staff greeted everyone very well and regulars with a hug or kiss . Coats were got and put on guests by the staff

I went there for dinner and booked a table. The gentleman waiter with the rather large facial feature on his lip then proceeded to say “is your friend coming, you know you only have until 8.15pm” and also tapped his watch to reassert the comment. My friend came and we then proceeded to order quite mediocre food, that were very large portions, yet lacked in taste. I would not recommend. Waiter made me feel uncomfortable not only with his massive facial feature, but also with his aggressive tone regarding the table, whilst the food was average, if not below. I would steer clear and find somewhere else if you can!

Staff is rude. They told us at least 5 times that we can use the table for 2h only. They came 3-4 times in 5 min to ask us for an order, while we kindly asked to give us a bit of time to read the menu and to choose. They were too pushing. I felt like they told us without words "Hurry, up, quicly, chop chop, give us your money and go away! Now!" Some dishes were good but we would never visit again. I do not recommend!

Love to visit Toscana when I come down from Yorkshire to see my daughter. Never disappoints. Booked a table for a Thursday night. It was very busy with a lively atmosphere. We were greeted immediately on arrival and shown to a lovely corner spot near the kitchen. The friendly waitress took our order and our drinks quickly arrived. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I chose the homemade pasta: ravioli with spinach and ricotta: delicious. My daughter chose tagliatelle with chicken and mushrooms and was equally happy with her dish. We shared some tasty cheesy garlic bread. For desserts we enjoyed apple pie and a lemon sorbet. Perfect end to our evening. The staff are very friendly and welcoming here and clearly have a lot of regulars! It’s set just across the road from the Premier Inn so ideal if you’re staying there and only a few mins walk from the train station. Do book in advance as it is deservedly very popular.

4 of us ate here yesterday. I had the seafood risotto and were and they substituted extra calamari for mussels as I don't like them. It was delicious. The dessert however was disappointing: the profiteroles had the texture of Yorkshire pudding, swimming in sweet choc. sauce - my companions all tasted them and agreed they weren't up to much. The service from every member of staff was excellent, attentive without being pushy. It was packed, which made it quite noisy

Midweek family lunch. Quite busy with most tables full. There were about six choices on the mains lunchtime menu. All sounded and looked delicious. Although the food was hot, well presented and well cooked, the tastes were quite bland. Beef stroganoff should have a background warmth of wine, there was nothing evident.

Our primary server was great but, I’m not sure if it was the manager or owner, was not very kind. It honestly ruined the experience.

It's not until you spot that favourite old jumper at the back of the wardrobe that you realise just how much you've missed wearing it. And Toscana is the restaurant equivalent of that favourite old jumper, it might not look like something bang on trend for this season, but every time you slip into it you know you're going to be pleased you did. Prior to the first lockdown we came to Toscana very regularly, once every couple of weeks probably, and Helen and I have both held significant birthdays there. Since lockdown we've not been out so much and we tend to try to vary where we go more, so Toscana had slipped down our list a little. This weekend we went back there for a family celebration and everything was just how we left it; the staff were lovely and remembered everyone's names from previous visits and the food was the same quality as ever, neither of which are easy when you're in a party of fourteen. One thing that always splits the crowd is the decor in Toscana, some people find it a little dark and dated, but personally I love it, there's a certain individual charm that a venue can acquire when the decor goes beyond being dated and it becomes part of what makes visits there so enjoyable. The whole place suits itself so well that nothing should ever change in my opinion, I want to be able to pull this comfy jumper on for decades to come.

Excellent Italian restaurant in siducp

I went for lunch with my partner. The drinks were great. The wine. The mocktail. I wasn't a fan of the food so I won't be going back.

A little hidden gem in the middle of Sidcup/Bexley. This is a classic example of a great Italian restaurant that only locals knew about it :) Great food throughout the menu and walking in the restaurant feels like transporting you straight into an Italian small village. Must try!

Just had meal for 11 people a 60th birthday The food was fantastic service was very good as well ,the portions were very large I had to take some of mine home I would recommend this restaurant and it is on my list of places to revisit

This restaurant looks quite unassuming from the outside, however what waits inside is some of the most delicious food I’ve had. The pasta calabrese was stunning and the seafood risotto was loaded with seafood. The staff were welcoming and I’d definitely return

Can't believe I haven't eaten here before, given the number of times I've passed by. Delicious authentic Italian food, very generous portions and great service. I went for a birthday dinner on a Friday night with a group of friends, having chosen the 8.15pm sitting. We thorougly enjoyed our meal choices. The staff even brought out a special dessert for the birthday girl, which was a nice touch

I have been to Toscana a few times now and each time the service and food has been excellent. The restaurant has a very homely and welcoming setting. On each occasion I have taken my toddler and the staff have been very accommodating by providing a booster seat, making food to suit his taste and keeping him happy. I am still amazed by how quickly they whip up and serve such delicious meals. The wine was also excellent with plenty of choice. I think this will always be my favourite Italian restaurant!

A beautiful little Italian restaurant in Sidcup. Warm and cosy atmosphere. Welcoming and immaculately presented tables with pristine white tablecloths. Pasta dishes are delicious as is their forest fruits Panacotta. Highly recommended.

Popped in for a bit of lunch and omg. The staff are soo friendly. Then the food came and it was lovely, I also tried the wife's lasagne and it reminded me of when I was 14 when I visited Italy, never had anything like it in the UK. Amazing. Will be back

Never any disappointment when eating at this family run restaurant. Always welcomed with a smile and the atmosphere is great. Food is exceptional and always tasty. Would recommend a try but you'll have to book as it's a very busy restaurant which speaks volumes

Mussels smelled bad, I was afraid of food poisoning so after 1 bite I stopped eating. Usually mussels smell bad because they already begun to rot.

The older man (the owner) was completely rude. The end when coming to pay for the meal the man had added £15 on to the bill which we politely said may we do £10 he then got the hump that we had asked that and completely ignored us when paying, not a single thank you or hope you enjoyed your meal just walked off and went to another table. Never going back there he was rude and ignorant. However the young man that served us was a lovely man and was so sweet.

Absolutely one first class restaurant. 4 of us visited this place on Saturday 5th March 2022. The food portions are excellent and great value for your money, the service and staff were excellent and make you feel very welcome. We will definitely be returning many many times again.
