We went in on a Saturday night and they had a small bald man doing the entertainment. He was absolutely fantastic, had the whole pub singing along together without music just the his soothing tones. Great atmosphere. The pies are also very nice.

We went here twice with our 2 cockapoos Winnie and Willow during the afternoon whilst on holiday at Seahouses. Very friendly bar maid, made us feel very welcome and gave dogs a treat each day. Nice pub, comfortable and clean with nice decor. Prices very good, don't do food but very good for a afternoon drink. Toilets are exceptional. Thanks again to the lovely barmaid who had just had a new puppy.

Honestly the bar staff are extremely friendly and so accommodating and will do anything for you, dogs are welcomed and it’s cheap and reasonably priced compared to other places in seahouses, £4.80 for a great pint of Guinness, live entertainment on Friday Saturday and Sunday which is great and a pub quiz on Thursdays with a jackpot of over £200, they show live sports like football horse racing etc, when they are on and have 3 teles with different games on if your team is playing they will put it on for you, Kath (the owner) is extremely friendly and so nice and so are all her bar staff!!!, nothing is too much for them, it is a proper pub which is cosy and you will have a great time here!!!

Went in because of the Black Sheep Brewery signage. I love their beers and have visited the brewery. The place doesn’t smell right, like the carpet could do with a clean. Local propping up the bar was very intereated in me. Ordered the Black Sheep Best Bitter. First sip tasted off. Waited a bit, had another sip. Beer isn't meant to taste like that. Tasted like the cleaning solution was still in the lines. If they can't get that right I'd rather not swap it for another pint. Tried to be nice by quietly taking it into the gents and poured it down the urinal. Didn’t want to embarrass anyone. Came back to my seat. The local propping up the bar demanded to know why I'd taken it into the toilet, asking what was wrong with it, telling the bar staff. Getting louder and louder. Why was he so interested in watching me going into the toilets?

Lovely dog friendly pub with a great atmosphere and nice pint. Holidaying in Seahouses and looking for a comfy pub to relax and chill with my dog after exploring the area, we were welcomed in and made to feel at home within minutes. Staff so friendly and made fuss of dog and provided water so that he'd settle. Cheap and lovely beer and seating areas comfy with TV's showing sport. The locals made us comfortable and at home. We were staying in Seahouses at another establishment. We had The Schooner Inn recommended. What a great recommendation. Seahouses isn't a large town, which is one of its attractions. We weren't expecting to find a pub that had the Premier league on TV. The atmosphere in the pub was very amicable. Full of Newcastle United fans. Very friendly indeed. The young lady behind the bar made us very welcome. TV screens in abundance, so nothing was missed. The drinks were far cheaper than where we were staying. It was a great night despite the match result.

On our 4th day in Seahouses we walked 77 steps to this bar. The only one of the four pubs that does not have real ale. Had a refreshing pint of Cruzcampo with Ic and Flic. They like the nautical theme in this L shaped pub. They loved the model trawler. I think this is the only TV pub for watching footie. 4 TV's for popular games. Also 2 dartboards.

Food good apparently but not really a village pub anymore. Called in for a pint and although there are four hand pumps there are no kegs attached to them so no proper beer. "We don't sell enough to warrant buying it in". So if you're looking for a meal probably ok but if you're wondering about a pint you'll be disappointed. Shame, it used to be good.....
