Such a great restaurant, amazing quality, tasty food, friendly service. So amazing, we used them to cater at our wedding, all our guests were full of compliments for the food.

It's a wonderful place,the people are very welcoming and the cook is just amazing,we totally recommend it 100%. The food is also very good and delicious we can't wait to come again. 🙏🙏🙏

We enjoyed our delicious 3 course evening dinner cooked the authentic Italian way . We can recommend the creamy tomato soup & garlic mushrooms to start & both our fillet steaks were perfect . Lemon cheesecake to finish 😋 Well recommended 👌

I ate here with some friends and I have to say it was by far one of the best meals I’ve eaten in a long time! Had the Gamberoni as a starter and it was a great choice! Great portion size and the sauce was so flavourful ! I also tried my friends calamari and it was the first time in a long time I’ve had it so perfectly cooked! I then chose the filet steak which was cooked perfectly and very well seasoned! I was then recommended the homemade banana pancakes and they were not wrong, they were phenomenal! The staff were very attentive, warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived to the moment we left! It’s safe to say, I will definitely be returning and bringing more people with me!

I’ve been here twice in the last week. First time with a party of 19. Second as a couple. The staff are so friendly. They managed our orders on the first visit really well with no one sitting waiting. The food is authentic and really well presented. No complaints about the food which I would say is the best I’ve had for a long time. This is a little gem of a place which is being missed by the locals sadly. I will be back!!

Heard good reports about this lovely restaurant. We were not disappointed. Had the 3 course lunch special. Tremendous. Big portions. Friendly staff. Nice clean place. Couldn't fault it. Definitely recommend and will return 👌 👍 👏

Lovely Italian restaurant. Myself and my friend had a meal here on Wednesday as it was her birthday. Can not fault the place. The food was delicious. Will definitely be going back. What shocks me is how many people in Ashington didn't know it' existed. What Italians🤔 they'd say. Think more advertising is needed. Nothing expensive, just a few posters up. Maybe leaflets through doors.

I have been several times the food is always delicious. My son regularly has food delivered, and he says the same.

Poor service, tried through Just Eat, it was pending for 10 minutes so I cancelled. Tried calling the shop, voicemail received. Absolutely poor and a well deserved 1* review for these.

I don't know why we never left a review, we have been eating here quite a few times. From welcome to goodbye, all the staff are very friendly and professional. The food is absolutely gorgeous, and freshly made. Their chefs really can cook. For being an Ashington restaurant, people are still lucky that the prices are affordable, but given the quality of everything, or had the restaurant been in Morpeth or Newcastle, it would have been a lot more expensive. And it deserves al the praises in the world.

5 of us went for the lunch time, Food was fantastic, staff very friendly the place was immaculate. We will definitely be back

My chicken was superb, but my husband was somewhat disappointed with his steak. It's nicely done out, we went on a quiet night between Christmas and new year

We’ve been a couple of times for food here and everytime it’s been lovely. Food was so tasty. My mushroom soup was creamy with a rich flavour, along with the ravioli. We chose from the Christmas menu and it was around £28 each for 3 courses. Tiramisu is unreal! Pina Colodas are always spot on too 😉 Il girasole is always our go to for a meal out

This is the second time we have ordered takeaway munchie boxes and let me tell you they’re the best around! The pizza is unbelievable, probably the best I’ve had, the carbonara is definitely the best I’ve ever had, so tasty and so much bacon in it! The portions are brilliant and it’s never disappointed! The staff have been super friendly as is the delivery driver each time we’ve ordered. Can’t express how much we love the food!

We went for a family birthday and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the friendliest of the staff this was the second time we dined here and we cannot fault this restaurant.

Been here a few times now and always good food and service even back tomorrow night with my friends. Only gripe I would say is on the special menu there are 4 of the 10 pizzas you can NOT get on the special 3 course menu. Asked if could pay a supplement to get the pizza on the special still and told no as all the pizzas i liked not on the special menu. Hence just got a main while my wife got the 3 course special. Perhaps change the menu where you pay extra for the items pizza/pasta not on the special menu so the person can.

Lovely restaurant only problem we had was their was only one waitress and she was run off her feet poor girl trying to get everyone's food to them. So more staff needed I think other than that no problems.

Lovely Rumanian staff very pleasant and helpful. Vegetables for my meal ok, not great and my wifes pasta arribiata supposed to be spicy with a kick was not at all! This was a lunch time so, might try an evening meal there in the future

Had a take out, the food was delicious and piping hot.

Went out expecting to have mediocre pasta, well what a very pleasant surprise, turned out it was steak night, had 3 courses which included a fillet steak, I had pepper my partner had dianne, which were both faultless, meals were fabulous and service was excellent, come on the people of Ashington support this wonderful restaurant

I’ve had several meat feast pizzas from here now. Believe me I’ve had my fair share of pizzas over the years (I’m 40!) These are hands down the most delicious and tasty pizzas I’ve ever had the privilege of devouring. The dough, the crust, the toppings and the sublime taste in every bite. Absolutely amazing 👌👌

We stumbled across this little gem of a place by accident, had no idea it was here in Ashington.The staff were very polite and helpful,extremely efficient in their role, the food was delicious the flavours and presentation was well thought out and presented..What an amazing find in Ashington well done IL Grisole in your new adventure 2 weeks open and you have delivered very high standards of food and service congratulations to you all..

Just been for Sunday lunch, unbelievable quality , great staff, amazing food, cheesecake was unreal too. Highly recommend 💯
