Went in a couple of times on our visit to berwick. Nice beer, decent selection of spirits and great service. Very artisan but very nice and laid back. Allowed dogs in so much appreciated by me to get a beer while out with the dogs.

Always absolutely brilliant. Guest stout was absolutely amazing this week, blackcurrant stout from Manchester. Was a wonderful accompament to the haggis sausage roll. Lovely staff and always great food and drink, in a fantastic setting. Been coming here for ten years. Love it.

Great little pub. Excellent beer and a good atmosphere about the place. Friendly and efficient staff.

Warm beer. Had to ask for ice which is not good to start with. None of the food advertised was available. It was lunchtime when we visited, just after the bar opened hence no reason why food snacks should not have been available had the staff ensured that local food delivery. Bar man didn't seem very happy to be serving us. Disappointing visit.

Ten years on - Curfew still going strong!!

Exactly the template for a perfect Micropub and the best pub in town by about 3 years! Fair to say I love it and the lovely Team. Worth my 300 mile trip here. Thank you too Team Curfew for being so Vegan friendly

I didn't try the food, but the place is a hidden gem. Good selection of real ales, imported beers and ciders, no music blaring out heaven.

Amazing beers, lovely little pub with a distinctive style and charm. Not at all “old blokey”, great staff, visited twice this week. Highly recommend it.

We dropped into the Curfew a couple of times while staying at Berwick-upon-Tweed, the beer is excellent, the staff friendly and the snacks brilliant.

Had such a lovely drink in the afternoon we had to go back in the evening.

Award winning micropub in town centre. Gets very busy but that adds to the atmosphere. The Abbeydale Moonshine was superb. The Mrs also had a Brie & Cranberry sausage roll which was amazing. Such a good pub that we went back later the same day

Great little place. Decent beers, good simple food. No rubbishy TV on, or gambling machines. Just peace and conversations. Dog friendly too.

Had a great time in this little pub in Berwick-upon-Tweed. Saw it highly rated in Google so went in for a pint (or two) after a long day of walking. Small, but well-curated selection of cask ales and ciders that offer something for everybody. Light snacks and food are on offer. Was filled with attentive staff and a bunch of friendly regulars. If ale or cider is what you're looking for in Berwick-upon-Tweed, then The Curfew is for you.

When we are in Berwick upon Tweed in our camper van wealways make a point of going to The Curfew Micropub. Always a friendly greeting and a cracking pint, good snacks as well! If you ask nicely you can try before you sup! Love it!

Lovely place. Micro ... but certainly not tiny. Very friendly especially for dogs, when we arrived with our two there were two and within five minutes we had about ten sitting around us. We love this but not if you don't like or are scared of dogs. Good draft beers on, personally I was a little bit sad that they were all from Manchester today as I was hoping for something from Northumberland or Scotland but I can't dock points for my personal wish list. Also a good selection of cans and bottles available in the fridge. Definitely worth a visit if you are anywhere nearby ... I'm sure we will be back in very shortly. Edit: came back in three more times this week as this place is such a fine establishment. Had several cask and keg ales and then a can which was my 500th new beer logged this year. Really friendly staff and clients. An absolute gem of a find. If you are in around Berwick-upon-Tweed and like a real ale then this is an absolute must visit (second only to Bear Claw Brewery in Spittal).

Super cosy, lovely, micro-pub for anyone who loves a good pint - either on draught or in bottles. Small but good selection of wine, fizz and soft drinks also. Plus crisps. The four hand pulls are changed very regularly with local brewery Bearclaw often making an appearance. It's a friendly and lively place - just as good on a quiet Friday afternoon reading the paper, or a Saturday evening when it's full to brim. The Curfew is a key cornerstone of the Bridge Street Pub Crawl - the others being The Barrels and Atelier - the latter being great for food also. Love beer? In Berwick? Don't miss The Curfew.

Lovely micropub. Very small inside but very nice beer. They do have some snacks available, but it's not a food place.

Quaint little micro pub with a good selection of beers and a few ciders. Although we only tried beer and cider, there did seem to be other drinks such as wines and spirits on offer. They also have a selection of soft drinks and a few bar snacks. We visited twice during our holiday nearby, and both times were served by friendly barmen.

Bizarrely, they were serving a beer from my local (250 miles away) microbrewery. Didn't have that, had a lovely porter instead. Friendly barman,lovely spot.

Lovely wee 'hidden' gem in Berwick-upon-Tweed, we discovered many a new enjoyable drink when visiting here recently.

Landed here at 1pm on a Monday having completed the Northumberland Coastal Path. Great beer, friendly and helpful staff. Stumbled out 3 pints later very happy that this is the place we ended our awesome walking trip in.

Excellent small pub selling real ale

Best bar in Berwick, we visited on a day out in Berwick in December 2022 and most bars closed until 5pm, this micro pub opened at 3pm on a Wednesday and when we went in at 3,20pm it was nearly full, it has seating inside for about 30 to 40 people but has outside seating for about 30 people with heaters , the beers are on tap or kegs and had a good selection but I had the IPA beers from the can selection in the fridge which had a good selection of international beers which were lovely, because the bar was busy and it is cosy the atmosphere was great, barman was very helpful and would give you advice on beers, definitely worth a visit.

Unfortunately this wee place is getting very popular so be careful when you arrive as it has very limited seating. Love the diverse selection of beer and bar snacks but the word is definitely out so be prepared for standing or get there early doors.

Superb micro pub. They've made it through COVID thank God and have made more space inside, and they also now take cards, otherwise still brilliant.

Great selection of craft ales, knowledgable staff, and nice secluded ambience to it. Reccommended most highly.

Easy to miss location but well worth taking time to find it. Very friendly and as the name suggests fairly small. Regularly changing cask ales from various micro breweries are awesome and if they have the game pie 'snack' then get it as its much more than a snack. Definite revisit next time I am in Berwick
