The best restaurants serving Default food in Newburn Newcastle upon Tyne North East

This is a wonderful place to eat. Homemade soup was amazing. A huge choice on the menu. Chilled draught choice very good. Every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. Easy parking and access just off the A1. Kind and friendly staff Would give you 11/10 if I could

The food was lovely, fresh hot and flavoursome. Staff all very friendly and restaurant has a lovely ambiance…..but we were pretty annoyed on our night here to see they are now adding service charge onto the bill. When I asked for it taken off they said it is compulsory….well for the record it is NOT! You can not force this on people, that is against the law. A tip is at the discretion of the guest, and they have the right to have it removed. So do the decent thing and don’t be so presumptuous. We will not be back till this happens.

Absolutely disgusting!!!! Bad attitude from management, shit food, being called a liar the phone put down on me!!! The only nice thing was the delivery lad, he was lovely and so polite

We like to support local businesses and the Branzinos restaurant at the old Boathouse pub being only a mile or so away from us is perfect for lunch or evening meal. The restaurant is right on the River Tyne next to Newburn Bridge Our latest visit was on a very wet Saturday lunchtime but we soon forgot about the downpour outside We were shown to our table and immediately noticed despite the awful weather the place was busy Pizzas and Pastas are mostly less than ten pounds and are extremely good value. Despite the price there is no scrimping on ingredients We had the Risotto Roma., Picante Pizza and a Meat feast pizza, we all commented on how flavoursome they were Service was good in nice surroundings which reflect the Boathouses nautical past With drinks the bill came to just over thirty pounds. You can’t go wrong

Comfortable place to stay while walking Hadrian’s Wall. The breakfast was tasty. The rooms are comfortable if a little dated. Someone told me it looked like a hostel.

First time I've had food from here, will definitely be ordering again, amazing.
