Delicious food, good ambience and entertaining lunch with Desmondo’s and a one of our group reciting poetry from Christopher Matthew and one friend reciting Stanley Holloway with Albert and the Lion. Booked again for another entertaining lunch next month!!!!!

Found this place on the second day . Lovely icecream on the sea front . Lots of seats to sit and unwind . There were very busy which was lovely to see . I could sit and people watch all day .

I came in for tea and chat with my friends. Very welcoming, it was like we were part of the family. Lovely atmosphere, the sausage rolls were the best that I have ever had and the traditional no fuss cakes were amazing. We will be back for sure.

Our company have kindly bought some cakes cookies and brownies for someones birthday in the office. I have visited Slice on many occasions and recommended them. I cannot praise them highly enough. I have also had the pleasure of sampling their toasties and sausage rolls. Their coffee is excellent too. Take a trip along you will not be disappointed

Really good food, freshly cooked and a lovely host/service. Couldn’t ask for anything better. They were so accommodating to myself and my group. Will definitely be coming again soon xx

Great takeaway fish and chips - cooked to order so were super fresh - chips were crispy and cod was cooked to perfection - top notch

Oil that cooked in had weird taste like beef dripping .. fish bit overcooked and not chunky.. I did forget to add that the staff were lovely and food very fresh

Delivery of food arrived on time, really well cooked and hot. Very impressed. Food so tasty and excellent value. Had both Sunday dinner and Mexican. Definitely recommend.

Great service and nice staff, highly recommend

This place was a really nice find on a March Friday evening for a middle-aged but youthful couple visiting Lowestoft. Our B&B recommended the place next door (pink neon lights, fishbowl look), not for us! But right next door is a 'proper' nice pub. Comfortable, clean, and most of all, very welcoming. As soon as we were halfway to the bar, we got a cheery "hello" and "what can I get for you, are you going to be eating" I'm a bit grumpy when people are overly (falsely) friendly. But the young man and young woman who served us got it just right. Left us alone when wanted, and were quick to respond when we asked. The food is simple, (we had "chicken in a bucket') but the portions are good (but not wasteful) and really tasty and fresh. We've never been to Lowestoft before and probably never will again as we were here for a very specific reason, but our visit to this lovely pub turned a 'functional visit to the town into a pleasurable meal/night out. Thank you

Wonderful lunch for a special birthday. We were a large group of family and friends and the lunch was handled perfectly. The staff and service were excellent and the food exceptional as always.
