The Kirkley Village Tea Rooms in Waveney

I came in for tea and chat with my friends. Very welcoming, it was like we were part of the family. Lovely atmosphere, the sausage rolls were the best that I have ever had and the traditional no fuss cakes were amazing. We will be back for sure.

Family friendly, great prices and welcoming. The chocolate cake is amazing!! Family room out the back with toys and books. Toilet was very clean as well!

On our visit to London Road South we went in The Kirkley Village Tea Rooms and had a lovely welcome from the person behind the counter we ordered an Afternoon Tea for three people and it was fantastic the service was great the food was lovely and was all home made. The atmosphere was peaceful. We have arranged to go back not just for a special Afternoon Tea but for a coffee and a piece of their lovely cake or a toastie. I would highly recommend this beautiful Tea Room .

We stumbled on this little treasure and cannot praise the staff, cakes or tea rooms enough. Dawn the owner is a delight to chat to and she has made the second tea room to resemble her Nan's parlour complete with sofa and two bucket chairs and a large 6 seater table. Dot's Snug is comfortable and also has board games, a children's selection of toys and a bookshelf with children's books. Dot's snug also has an area that contains original photographs and old postcards and books of Lowestoft for visitors to look at. It is complete with photographs of her family and Dot herself on the side board. The cakes are superb, the carrot cake was the best that I had ever had and the homemade sausage rolls were perfect. Dont miss out on this wonderful tea rooms we certainly are coming back.

Wonderful gem. All vegan cake and best I've ever tasted. They are very accommodating and also do hard slices of cake so you can try more than one at a time woth less guilt 😋😆

Lovely place and friendly staff. Clean toilet facilities. Great space in the back for events or to enjoy a drink and sausage roll. Worth a visit. Real community feel.

We visited this lovely tea rooms today and were immediately impressed. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the food was second to none. The tearooms have a rear section with god quality kids toys and local historical information where you can relax and pass the time and escape the bustle of life. This place is well worth a visit Thank you
