Wonderful king's coronation celebration evening with a quiz and SUCH EXCELLENT FOOD! As always the atmosphere felt like everyone knew each other, it was just a perfect end to a great day

Tell you something you won't go wrong with this place Coffee was good food superb but what caught my eye was the decor It's worth the visit for that especially in Lowestoft. Desmond also comes across as someone who does actually care about good service

Called to have a go at the new(ish) lunch menu and delighted. Great toppers to the artisan bread and as ever, good coffee in proper large cups! Excellent value with good entertainment for free! Brilliant art work (by proprietor) adorning the walls complimenting the existing decor and furniture. Great atmosphere.

Fantastic family lunch, Saturday lunchtime special of pizza for £7, amazing homemade speciality breads and thick shakes for the kids = something for everyone!

I enjoyed my visit here. Desmond is a lovely guy, really chatty and helpful. I didn’t get around to trying the food just as I wasn’t there for long enough but the coffee was fantastic. His paintings around the cafe are lovely and beautiful also. I look forward to returning. Will probably up my rating to a 5 once I’ve eaten there :)

My wife and I paid a visit to the unique Adams Family Shoppe on Tuesday 3rd August. We were initially taken aback by the artistry skills of the owner Desmond who was working on a stunning portrait when we arrived. The food and drinks that we ordered were of exceptional quality. My only bug bear was that we had to rush the experience due to our poor time keeping! We have eaten out virtually every week that we have lived in Norfolk, ( 5 months ), and without a doubt, Desmond's quirky abode rates the highest for best for the food, the personality of the host and the venue. The home made bread was something to behold!! We will be back many times in the future. Highly recommended.

We've visited a few times now together and with friends and we have never been even slightly disappointed. Every single meal is freshly prepared, there is a choice of at least three breads all freshly baked that morning and a great selection of fillings plus lots of other things that we've yet to try but will be soon. You definitely will not be disappointed.

A must experience if you are in Lowestoft. Desmond has character and so does the Cafe. Full of eccentric elements and artworks.

Coffee and art! Popped in yesterday after a long walk for a little break. Lovely atmosphere and cater for dairy free. The art work dotted around is fantastic and created by the very talented owner himself! We used to enjoy pizzas at Desmond's original restaurant so I'm really excited when Desmond told us he does open in the evening for stonebaked pizzas (booking only)! I cannot wait to book this soon!

Took our 13 year old daughter here for her birthday lunch. The food was amazing. Staff so friendly and both kids loved the milkshakes. Will definitely be back.
