Absolutely amazing, this is just what Metfield needs. We went here for a late coffee but the food looked so good that we ended up staying for lunch, and we were so glad that we did. Everything was delicious!!! All the staff were super friendly, talkative and helpful. There is tonnes of vegan options available and they were very accommodating for allergies, editing things on the menu to suit. The cherry on top of all this is that they sell amazing plants as well!!! Overall a spectacular place to visit for a coffee, for lunch or anything in-between. We will definitely be visiting again.

Fantastic food! We stopped twice - on the way and again on the return journey. We had delicious coffee and cake. The menu is quite unique and offers very tasty snacks and larger meals. The staff are very friendly, nothing is too much trouble. It is completely dog friendly, Wrigley had her own water bowl and was given a dog biscuit. There is plenty of room inside, the interior has been beautifully redecorated and is light and welcoming. There are tables outside in the sunshine too. There is plenty of car parking, it's a great base for delicious food and then a walk in the Suffolk countryside.

What a fabulous evening we had at the Wissett Plough last Friday to celebrate the first night of my daughters hen weekend. It was great that it coincided with a special evening of live music by Felix Simpson and lovely tasty set menu of tapas. Bring your best set of teeth if you have the steak! You will need them to chew through the gristle. The pudding was dreadful as well. Far too much gelatine had set what should have been a creamy delight into a chewy stodge. The service was very slow. A mile in either direction will find you at some far better places to eat.

We visited The Wissett Plough after passing it en-route to our holiday accommodation close by.I immediately looked at the menu and decided to book a table online and received swift confirmation email from Harry. We received a warm welcome at the pub by all of the staff. Every table was taken and virtually no hiccups considering the pub is under new management. A very well lit and covid safe pub.We had received a discount voucher from the the owners of our holiday accommodation to use at the pub but found that this was for the previous owners. However, the staff were kind enough to give us the discount.I enjoyed the mouthwatering and tasty rib of beef but feel it lacked vegetables as I had finished my meal before the rest of my party who enjoyed battered fish and home cooked chunky chips and haddock chowder which were equally delicious. However, on a plus side I was left feeling satisfied.Next we ordered triple chocolate brownie and sticky toffee pudding which, were both the right sized portions for indulgent desserts.Excellent quality of food and drink at a very reasonable price in a warm and friendly setting. Definitely a place to visit if you enjoy fine creative dining in a relaxed country setting.I would definitely revisit The Wissett Plough again but I wouldn’t recommend this as a place for families with young children. Definitely a venue for foodies to enjoy and make sure you have money for a tip!Keep up the good work in your new venture!

This used to be a very regular haunt for us. We first went there 8 years ago when we moved to Suffolk and became good friends with the owners who had it at that time. Since they left, the pub has gone through many changes of owners and, although we have tried them all, we never felt the need to go back for a 2nd visit with any of them. We did on Friday and what a pleasant surprise. We received a very warm welcome (something seriously lacking with the last owners) and had a drink whilst perusing the menu. I had haddock and chips, my husband had skate. We only left a few peas as we were just too full to finish!! Both meals were delicious - such a pity we could not try a dessert but our stomachs wouldn't let us....Well worth a visit - we'll definitely be going again.

We discovered The Wissett Plough from a google search when looking for a place to spend the evening with friends that have a passion for gin. The selection of gins was very good, and the food equally good, which made for an excellent evening. We thought the prices were very reasonable for both the food and drinks. We would particularly recommend the scallops as a starter - delicious! The staff were very friendly and efficient too. It was quite quiet though on the Saturday evening that we visited in late August, a few more customers would give an extra ‘buzz’ to the atmosphere, so do consider visiting here - it’s just a few minutes north of Halesworth and about 20 minutes from Beccles.

Great little cafe and kiosk. Fab coffee, great selection of ice creams. Staff were lovely. Perfect place to pop too if using harbour end of Southwold beach / car park.

We called in for coffee and sausage rolls. Service was quick, efficient, and our food and drink were delicious. The shelves are also stocked with goodies galore and this Deli is well worth a visit.
