What a delight that we found this amazing tea room while in the area. The food was amazing, everything was homemade and tasted delicious, honestly the best scones we have ever had. Amazing staff, super friendly and couldnt do enough for us. We come from norwich but will definitely visit on a regular basis. Thank you ladies for your kind welcome and amazing food. 😊

What a lovely little tea room with friendly ladies. The afternoon tea we’ve just had was beautiful, freshly made sandwiches with homemade sausage rolls and cakes. The scones were delicious! We would definitely recommend and hope to visit again before we leave. Thank you 😊

This is an absolute gem of a find! The staff are so lovely and accommodating. They were quite busy so didn't have a table (highly recommend you pre book where possible!), but they said theu would happily do our order to takeaway. It was fantastic quality. We had some of their quiches, sausage pie and some toasted sandwiches and I have never been happier with a picnic by the sea. Highly recommend this place.

My daughter had afternoon tea delivered for out ruby wedding anniversary it was absolutely delicious lovely thick sandwiches sausage rolls were full of meat the scones and cakes were scrumptious would recommend to anybody will look forward to go there when able to open

My friends arranged an afternoon tea to be delivered to my house today for a surprise virtual baby shower! It was delicious! Apparently it was designed to be catering for myself, husband and our 1 year old and there was more than enough to go around. The sandwiches were so good and on lovely thick fresh bread, and the cakes were amazing! All so beautifully presented. I would definitely use them again & look forward to going one day in the future.

Brought this for my parent's who I havnt seen since August due to covid an me living in london and them in lowestoft, ordered it on Tuesday for delivery on Wednesday the staff were super helpful met all my requirements on what I wanted, set out beautifully on delivery food was good they had enough food that they saved some for today, would highly recommend. X well done Tea by the Sea.x

Absolutely delicious full English and tea, I love that they give you a little tea bag holder!! The little courtyard garden is cute but it was march when we visited so too cold. There is 2 tables at the front. The decor is pretty with funny pictures and pretty fairy lights and pennants. Loved it

Lowestoft has been waiting for a place like this. Lovely freshly prepared food and lovely relaxed atmosphere. There was my sister visiting us from Australia, her good friend Ro from London and me. Best high tea I've ever had.

We had a family birthday party here, the staff were very flexible and helpful, and the cakes and sandwiches were excellent. I don't think anyone left hungry. The price was very good value too.

Seek this place out , a little gem of a tea and coffee house by the sea . Home made scones (fruit or cheesy ) are delicious and lots of other assorted cakes together with home made sandwiches and sausage rolls are available . Big breakfast deals including a veggie option is available all morning and afternoon tea is located with a pensioner deal between 2-4 in the afternoon in the week. A sheltered garden at the rear has additional tables for those wanting the fresh air in the sunshine well wind protected from sea breeze All in all a great rest stop which is just a stone's throw from the coastal cliff path Enjoy a great refreshment stop.

Went for afternoon tea today. The highlights were scrummy sandwiches in beautiful fresh bread. Tasty sausage rolls and cheese scones. Then there were cakes. Fruit scone with jam and cream, and a selection of mini cakes. Plentiful supply of tea. Everything was fresh and delicious. Great friendly service and a nice ambiance. Highly recommended. Hubster says scrummy dummy doo!

Such a lovely and friendly little place. A little wait in busy periods but we sat and enjoyed the music and chatted with our friends, so the time flew. Our friends little girl is dairy intolerant and they offered to make her something not on the menu. Perfect place for tea and cake plus their breakfast baps are lovely too.

Visited here for a 40th Birthday get together. A really lovely afternoon was had by all, the tea and cakes were absolutely delightful.

Great little place to eat. We went for a family celebration. Didn't book, but got a table without any problems as it was early lunch time. It is small and does get busy, so may be advisable to book. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is good value and there is a good variety. We had paninis, which were very tasty. There's on-street parking outside, but this can be a bit hit and miss depending on how busy the road is. There's also an expensive pay and display car park almost opposite, but I'd try and park on the road if free - It's not a resident parking zone. Would highly recommend.

Had a very nice afternoon tea at Tea By The Sea today. Lovely little place, friendly staff and great food. Easy parking opposite, would be ideal for a snack after a walk along the beach. Recommended!

Went here last year the staff were so nice and friendly and the food was cooked fresh we now come here every year whilst on holiday for some good food and coffee. Highly recommend this place.
