Harbour Kiosk in Waveney

Great little cafe and kiosk. Fab coffee, great selection of ice creams. Staff were lovely. Perfect place to pop too if using harbour end of Southwold beach / car park.

Stopped for a cuppa. We'd found a phone and the team here managed to find the ice number and left a message for the owner. They kept the phone to pass it back to the owners when they got in touch. That's pretty amazing customer service 👏

Stop by for some crabbing at the harbour with the kids, they enjoyed an ice cream here. Me and the wife had a hot chocolate and wow, it was absolutely amazing, we was not expecting that well worth a try.

Gluten free options. Excellent service. Right by the car park which is free for 30 mins but pay to stay longer. Beach is right there so good for a pit stop and view of the sea!

Caroline makes the best tea in Southwold and now a book share hut what more can you ask for!

Open again now for the season and very handy as by the car park entrance and opposite the toilets. Very handy for drinks/snacks before or after a walk on the beautiful beach only a few yards away.

Prices are surprisingly good and it's SOUTHWOLD of all places!

It's a snack kiosk, with teas and coffees, ice cream, drinks etc. What sets it apart however are the staff. They are so friendly and welcoming and are some.of the nicest staff we have encountered! Well worth giving them your custom!!

Great little seaside kiosk very friendly staff lovely hot chocolate. Prices are reasonable as well for a seaside location.

We stopped for a quick drink, coffee and tea, while we were walking from Southwold pier to the harbour, good value for money.

Great kiosk that can supply you with lots of tasty treats after a hard mornings crabbing! Also lots of beach supplies should you have forgotten your crabbing bucket etc!!

Thankfully, these guys have opened. They've installed all the Covid safety stuff, and are using the social distancing milarchy. The good news is this allows us to resume one of our favourites. Chillin by the river with a coffee. You don't know just how much we've missed this therapeutic experience. Coffee, views and Southwold. Who needs a foreign holiday?

We stopped for snippy ice creams. Service with a smile and lovely ice cream. There are lots of outside tables and seating on the prom. Bacon sandwiches, cake, drinks and beach goodies.

Convenient for snacks and hot drinks when you're camped out out the beach - toasted teacakes went down well . . . .

Traditional kiosk near the lifeboat museum and harbour. Walking a circular route from the town to the harbour and back along the beach and this was a great place to stop half way have a tea and Kit Kat before heading back - plenty of rolls and cakes on offer.

After walking along the Quay and getting a bit cold we enjoyed two really hot coffees, a cheese scone and home made hot sausage roll. All very enjoyable and served by very polite and friendly young folk. Well done and thank you.

Much better food than you would expect from a kiosk, and good coffee, not he instant variety. Also have soya milk. Small selection of cakes,/sandwiches, but a reasonable variety and all reasonable quality. Good ice cream too. Staff pleasant and helpful.

Buckets, spades, crabbing equipment, kites, ice cream, everything required for a great day at the beach. We had tea and hot chocolate which were very good. Friendly service

What a pleasant find, big creamy ice creams served in a waffle cone delivered by very friendly chatty staff. We will be stopping by next time for a proper cup of leaf tea served with homemade cake.

Lovely little kiosk at the end of Ferry Road out of Southwold. Very helpful and friendly service. The cakes looked gorgeous but we just had ice creams.

an excellent place to stop for a cuppa and a sandwich and to soak up the atmosphere. not the cheapest as far as kiosks go but its nice all the same.

We usually get a tea or coffee at the kiosk when we drive down to Southwold Harbour. Good coffee, a wide selection of ice-creams and home-made cake. Always good!

On a very windy day having walked from Southwold, we came across the Harbour Kiosk and very welcome it was being located by Southwold Harbour. Very friendly and chatty owner and really great homemade cake and hot drinks. Helped refuel for the rest of the walk.

We've visited the Harbour Kiosk many many times over the years. They offer all you'll need for a visit to the seaside and a great cup of good old English breakfast tea, using proper tea leaves. There's plenty of parking where you can sit in your car, enjoy your tea, watch all the activities of the Harbour and the views of Walberswick, Dunwich, Sizewell and beyond on a clear day. We'll be back again in the new season .

Decent selection, average coffee, long queues. They have a captive market so you can't help but keep returning. Nothing special but very convenient. They sell all the kit you need for crabbing as well.

Came across this place located by Southwold Harbour on a mammoth cycle ride. Excellent home made carrot cake and a strong cup of tea to fuel the journey home. Well worth a visit

Visited this little diamond on a day trip to Southwold and was really taken aback with what there was to purchase...... Home baking, all kinds of sweets, chocolate, ice cream, ice lollies, teas and coffees, soft drinks and more. Only down side is it is tucked out of the way and I bet there are lots of people not knowing it is there.

Opens till 8pm reasonably priced. Ice creams are lovely with all the favourite flavours. Always found the service to be friendly.

The harbour kiosk opposite Southwold life boat station is a perfect place for children to stock up on ice creams, snacks, beach accessories or where a boat trip may be booked. Unlike in many other places in Southwold with beach accessibility, it is an easy place in which to park and at a pound an hour.

Very nice for a little stop. They had all the necessary items for the beach and a good ice cream to take with us.

This little kiosk has been here for years, I used to come here with my Nan on holidays in October half term back in the 80's and have tea out of china mugs whilst we watched an easterly gale blow in, I'm surprised it hasn't blown away since then!

When we returned from a cycle rise around the area, the Harbour Kiosk was a welcome right.

This little ice cream kiosk in Southwold is well worth a visit, offering a good range of treats: homemade sausage rolls, homemade carrot cake and superb scooped ice cream. The two new boat shaped seated shelters at the rear, make the whole experience even better.

Lovely service. Tea,cake, bacon rolls,buckets and spades,icecreams. All you would expect to buy at fair prices. Great asset to that end of beach.

As long as I can remember this kiosk has been here serving all sorts of essentials for the beach plus they do snacks and drinks. The children always like to have an ice cream here. Well worth a stop for a piece of cake and tea or coffee aswell.

There has been a kiosk in this position down by the harbour and on the edge of this car park for many many years. It should really be grade 1 listed because it is exactly what a sea side kiosk should be like with bucket and spades, crabbing kits, kites,sweets, ice cream and lollipops and warm friendly service. Recently it has improved with tables and sun umbrellas and with views across the river to Warbleswick and beyond its a lovely little staging post and just adds further charm to a lovely seaside town .......

We stopped here for coffee or tea and cake during walks several times during a recent stay in Southwold. The fact that we kept going back says it all really. The service was pleasant and the drinks and cake excellent value.

Super tea just right after our fish & chips along by the foot ferry at Mr T's. Might well order a sausage or bacon butty very soon!!! Xxx

What a super find. A much needed satisfying ice cream and lots more, served by friendly, cheerful staff. The kiosk is located at the end of the beach near the entrance to Southwold's interesting harbour. This was definitely worth the visit - don't miss it!

Lovely kiosk down at the quieter end of Southwold- some people don't even realise Southwold has a harbour! Lovely cakes and coffees, more than just an instant coffee to take away. Also lots of buckets, spades etc and everything you need for crabbing along the harbour. Cheerful staff, even when they're busy. Highly recommend

Harbour walk with a reward of a delicious rum 'n' raisin cone with a flake at the Harbour Kiosk. A real taste of my childhood. Lovely chatty, friendly staff. Fab location as it's wonderful to walk to from town along the gorgeous sandy beach. A real little 'gem'. Well done Harbour Kiosk.
