The best restaurants serving Default food in Epping Forest East of England

Great restaurant, we didn't go for a while after it opened but so pleased we have now tried it. Wonderful service and food fron this Italian, the chef is from Sicily and has worked at some top London restaurants and you can tell by the quality of the food. Servie is also top quality. Highly recommend giving this place a try.

Great little shop for coffee, cakes, snacks and drinks oh and did I mention cakes and just in case I forgot to mention they do cakes, the best tasting cakes I’ve ever had, my personal favourite is the coffee and walnut.High Ongar is a beautiful quaint quiet little village well worth visiting and stopping at coffee post is a must.

Wanted a light hot meal and the board outside said pasta was on offer. The otherwise lovely young waitress had to ask, as the menu didn't mention pasta at all. It also had 2 or3 spelling mistakes. Anyway - the pasta was delicious when it arrived. They also had non-dairy milk available for my coffee. Not local but would return if in the area again

Very limited menu, not all available, lack of vegetables, I was a regular customer here when it was italian and loved it, but todays food was pretty awful, the waiter was great and tried to do his best, I will not becoming again unless it changes back to italian

Friendly welcoming I visited with my friend. Excellent customer service. The food was delicious and there was lots of it. Very generous portions, would recommend this restaurant. It's good to note that the bread and dips e.g hummus come with the mains as well as the salad and rice. Baklava and Turkish tea complimented on the house. Thankyou we will be back

Honestly the service, food and atmosphere was spot on. The service was friendly and efficient and they personalised each table. The roe buck it’s self is amazingly decorated mixing old and new with French style menu, my french onion soup was superb - don’t take it off!! Thank you

Small but very friendly Sunday visit, only holds about 16 to sit in, but quite a few people were coming in for take away, nice pies, good mash, and superb liquor, and the staff seemed very friendly, will definately return

An absolutely superb lunch, I enjoyed lemon sole with a side of asparagus. I started with pan fried prawns and we shared cheese at the end of the meal. The food was Mayfair quality, the atmosphere fun and buzzy and the customer service second to none. I can’t wait to return!
