Lovely owners. I always pop in for food and a coffee after tennis and they supplied a lovely platter for our tennis finals day. Great little cafe.

I go there most days and have coffee and smoked salmon biagles best place and the staff are really nice, I think their rivals leave these bad reviews because it’s a really nice place!!

Bagels are awful 3rd time I've go they have been consistently getting worse. Today's bagels were shocking I won't be returning don't know what has happened. When I used to go there they were amazing but now they are just as bad as supermarket bagels I think they may be even worse.

What a lovely little spot for afternoon tea! The ladies were wonderful servers, who made sure we had everything we needed. The afternoon tea was absolutely fantastic value for money. We couldn’t even finish it! Definitely recommend!

Great friendly deli with a good community spirit. Best in the area perfect to stop in for a coffee or bagel. Also brilliant for fresh bread, cakes and all other baked goods. Lovely staff always super polite and go the extra mile to help. Good location right by the station.

We are from NY and staying in Chigwell for a few weeks. Delicacy is the the best. Service is so friendly. Best Hazelnut Ice Coffee, great Latka’s making onion bagel, all there salads are fresh and it just feels like home!!!

Had a wonderful experience in this cozy cafe! I went on Monday 9.30, the staff are super friendly and service is wonderful! Its a small cafe with limited space but the atmosphere is lovely and makes you feel at home. My favourite is the hot chocolate! 10/10 will certainly go here again!

I enjoy having half-day work on mondays because it means i can eat here before/after 🙏 the staff are lovely and they sell proper beigels so i aint going all the way to brick lane for my childhood faves. Sounds silly, but i'd be pure crying if they ever moved location. Can't beat their food, nor their community friendliness. This is my fave local for sure.

I cannot fault Delicacy in any way. It is an amazingly spirited and delightful café with wonderful staff, delicious food and an unmatched atmosphere to boot. I go here as frequently as I can and will happily spend several hours there. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

Michelle and her team are THE BEST in the business. She’s provided amazing bagels and treats on numerous occasions for me and they never ever disappoint. So fresh and scrumptious, I wouldn’t buy anywhere else.

Absolutely love this place, literally a hidden gen. We get our lunch from here most days, everything here is soooo fresh. They are all so friendly, I just love their customer service always going over and above from each and every customer. I would like to thank, Fay, Jo, Chloe and (the amazing) Michelle! This is a little gem,the food is the nuts and the girls spot on with,what a great place.

Staff was nice and polite but quality of the hot drinks are not worthy those prices. Unfortunately Place look messy to many stuff around, boxes, plates and who know what else. Display with the cakes also doesn’t look inviting coz even the labels are not visible, no prices nothing. Ladies touching hoover and then bagels, till and food. Very poor cleanliness standards which sound shame coz place have a huge potential to become premium place.

Delicious fresh bagels and the friendliest service in Chigwell!

Myself, my partner and kids came here today for Afternoon tea. It was gorgeous, such a good price and beautiful food. The kids loved their jam rolls and was even given a huge cookie each to takeaway. Best scones I've ever had and the selection of cakes were amazing. Highly recommend here! So friendly and welcoming. I'll defo be back!

The afternoons teas are fabulous. So tasty, such a treat. So many lovely different things plus you can personalise, give them a ring and you can choose (within reason of course) . It’s fresh, it’s home baked, it’s tasty, it’s local. Fabulous 👏

Lovely shop full of lovely things however I was a little disappointed with the Smoked Salmon and cream cheese Bagel I had as there was hardly any filling!

I was recommended this lovely place by family, the staff are friendly and the trillionaire shortcake is on point but I forgot to get the jaffa cake so I will be going there again soon.

Fantastic staff that are always friendly and helpful!!! Would recommend there salt beef/Chicken Schnitzel every day of the week with a side of iced coffe :p

Cannot thank the Delicacy team enough for their great service throughout the last year. From click and collect to delivering afternoon teas to housebound relatives. They have such a vast Deli selection the only issue is choosing what to order. Their slogan "Made with Love" rings true with every order we place Perfect every time

The one thing I miss now that I live Up North is Michelle fresh bagels and homecooked food. Her salt beef bagels fully loaded just makes my mouth water just thinking about them. A great local gem...... don't change !

An absolute gem! What a great deli, Michele is very welcoming and friendly. Have used them on occasions to cater for parties and afternoon teas. Would definitely recommend, they also deliver locally which has been perfect for family members who have been shielding.

Wow - what a find! I chose to contact this cafe during lockdown to see if they could deliver something to a friend. They were amazingly helpful and ever-so-quickly put together an afternoon tea which they boxed beautifully and delivered! I get my daily coffee and weekly Bagels here. This is the best of homely food and coffees - but above all it’s the warm and friendly atmosphere at the cafe that makes it such a wonderful place.

This is just the best deli! You are always welcomed to Debbie's place with warmth, banter and delicious food. I would highly recommend 'The Full Jewish' as in the attached photo.

Cute little cafe, relatively small selection of food but was super tasty! Would definitely return. Had the Full Jewish which was great and also the salmon and cream cheese sandwich equally tasty. Good selection of cakes.

Michelle, the owner, did the catering for our mother's 90th birthday celebration for 45 people. The food was delicious, the presentation beautiful and Jo the waitress was exceptionally accommodating and friendly. Even knew the children's names! There was a separate table of food for allergy sufferers. Highly recommended.

First time I've been to this place and they let me have tea for free because I didn't have enough cash. I was with a regular of theirs but still, that is true hospitality. Very friendly indeed and if I wasnt being hurried away i would have outstayed my welcome oh yes I would have. It was raining but we wanted to sit outside and so they gave us bags to sit on. £1.60 for a slice of chocolate cake and a bottle of water? In Chigwell - where every other car is a brand new black Range Rover?!? Bargin!! The toilet was very interesting and had a huge display perfumes. You could slam the loo seat though. I didn't, out of respect.

Brilliant customer service!!!! Bagels are always lovely and freshly baked. Used them several times for party catering and they always go the extra mile in the presentation. They always suggest things that you wouldn't normally think of. Cannot recommend them enough!!!
