Small but very friendly Sunday visit, only holds about 16 to sit in, but quite a few people were coming in for take away, nice pies, good mash, and superb liquor, and the staff seemed very friendly, will definately return

I have no idea how good or bad Cov's Pie and Mash is, because they decided to cancel their catering booking for my friend's event at 10pm the day before, to go to the Euros final instead. They had booked and paid for pie and mash for 40 people, so Covs had offered to arrange a back-up plan, but had again let my friend down when the driver supposedly had a flat tyre and couldn't make it to the event. Covs did refund my friend (when prompted), but they had to scramble to arrange back-up options for the party, whilst also hosting the party. My friend had also arranged signage for the party which advertised Covs' social media, and ordered specific bowls and plates that Covs had told them to order - so even though Covs had refunded the order, they were still out of pocket. For all I know, the food may be lovely, but the lack of professionalism and customer service shown by Covs was disgraceful. Avoid using them for any sort of catering or delivery service.

Been living abroad for over a decade so it’s been a while since my last pie and mash, and boy did Cov’s deliver! Hannah behind the ramp was super friendly and helpful. Food was spot on. Will definitely be back!

Brilliant Excellent Pie Excellent Liquor Excellent Tea These two men keep the offer simple and have an excellent shop We popped in after going to a Christening so we were over dressed. They had excellent senses of humour and suggested that I took off my tie!

Tried a few pie and mash joints in my area but this one is by far and away the best. The pie was full of meat, the mash was perfect and the liquor was just the right consistency. The guy that runs it is an eastender and he knows what he’s doing. Parking can be a bit tricky. The residents of North Weald don’t know how lucky they are having this place on their doorstep. Will definitely be returning.

I thought I'd try this lil pie and mash tucked away in North Weald... I'd been Manzies in Walthmstow and different branches of Kelly's... I was delighted I did! Was told by word of mouth. Firstly the food... the pies are fully stocked bursting with mince... the portions are on point... the Mash is balanced perfectly... chilli vinegar on tap... next the decor and cleanliness is fantastic... a very authentic feel... Lastly I was told by guy at counter that sea food spread is on over weekend... cockles, muscles, crabsticks the lot... what an adventure!!! A monthly staple now!

Decided to visit after hearing Great things about this place and wasn’t disappointed , The service was Excellent , The Food was lovely and the Pies where unbelievable will defo becoming back ☺️☺️☺️

The best pie and mash I’ve ever tasted, great customer service, very clean seating area. The school cake and chocolate cake is absolutely amazing. Definitely recommend

Cov’s Pie & Mash is a hidden gem. From the friendly staff to the mouthwatering pies and the creamy mash, this place has a authentic taste of British tradition. Highly recommended 🤌🏼🤌🏼

It's tens all round. We went for the food and the pie was superb. This restaurant ticks every box. Spotlessly clean (Hygiene Rating 5), Great welcome with sensational fayre.
