The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Malvern Hills West Midlands

What looks like an ordinary village pub happens to be one of the best Chinese food restaurants I’ve ever eaten in. The quality of the food is exceptional and having visited 5 or 6 times in the last year, we’ve never had a bad meal and every dish is excellent. Lovely staff and a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Kelly is lovely and always polite, the food is great, good portion sizes and reasonably priced. What more can you ask?

Still happy with quality and taste, but not labelling dishes is going to stop me returning. Old review: Always happy with speed of service, but small easy improvement would be to write dish name on packaging or at least menu number. As some are particular about dish ordered (dietary particularly but preference also) and food goes cold as I try to decide by sampling dishes. However I do like their mixed meat and mixed vegetable dishes, but, I like anything other than mushrooms.

If you are reading the reviews to decide whether you should order from Hung's Kitchen, I would stop now and pick up the phone to literally any other establishment in Malvern..our usual favourite being the Star. Usually a mix up of an order doesn't warrant getting angry about, I only hoped this would be the case when ringing up, when this happened with our takeaway we collected. I think with even the bare minimum customer service skills, most can usually rectify a mistake without raising their voice and trying to blame the customer. You only have to scroll down below to another review about another order getting mixed up, I don't think it helps there are two different menus on the website offering the same items but both at different codes? surely it's more hassle for them as a company to run a business like this. You can take this review as someone being petty or unfair, I'm sure the owner will give a mediocre response as per the other reviews, wishing us well and telling us not to return perhaps, trust me we don't need to be asked twice.

First time visit for takeaway, we will be exploring other options in the area, nothing wrong with the food, just very ordinary.

Used to use all the time but they have really gone downhill, the food is bland with flavour, we had sweet and sour chicken and the chicken had a strange taste, it was not flavouring. The chips tasted like they had been cooked around 3 times or left out then cooked as they were very dry. Prawn crackers were very greasy and the pancake roll was running with grease. They don’t seem to have any consistency with their cooking anymore. We won’t be returning customers and I’ve heard a lot of other people are saying the same, there are much better places in Malvern with better quality and value. Sorry Maylink, it’s time you close all your doors.

Decent takeaway food-wise but on a Saturday it’s almost impossible to get them to answer the phone. It just rings out. You try again and it’s busy. Try again, it rings out. This evening I’ve tried them 10 times without success trying to place a large order. Literally giving up on these people and taking our business elsewhere. Message to the takeaway…..GET MORE STAFF!!!
