The best restaurants serving Chinese food in East Dorset South West

Have recently moved to the area and went in today to order some food, looked over the menu and selected a few items. Was told the total came to around £12. Asked if I could pay by card and was told that they only take cash for orders under £15! A minimum spend of £5 would be reasonable but these days card companies fixed charges are not that bad so companies that want to take a lot of cash, and refuse sales on card, don't tent to have my confidence. I'm afraid they've just lost a customer who really does like a good Chinese takeaway.

This was the best Chinese food we have had since the Chef da China closed. In fact several of the dishes were better than we had at the Chef da China. We had it delivered within 40 minutes on a Saturday evening. Outstanding. David Darts

went for first time yesterday. very good food and priced very reasonable, i will certainly be going back. my best chinese for ages so glad i came. jade peking i highly recommend .

Why is it cash only? There is only one reason for that! Also expensive, I won't be back. Food was OK but just felt dissapointed. Much better chinese takeaways around

I looked at the reviews and saw that this place was under new management so thought I would give it a try for myself. I'm so glad I did, 😊 the staff were very friendly and the food was amazing, lovely flavours, generous portions and so yummy 😋 I saved some for my husband but think I might have a second plate in a bit as it was seriously delicious.

We have always really enjoyed the food from here but tonight it tasted completely different and was edible but not great, such a shame don’t no what they have changed

Absolutely awful !! Don’t normal write reviews haven’t got time but this was so bad. We are limited for Chinese takeaways so took a chance on this, really wish we hadn’t dry, tasteless food please do not wast your money.
