Pre concert meal, our party of four had starters, mains and beers. This included a varied choice from meat to vegan, and we were all more than satisfied. Very friendly, very clean.

Best Chinese shop in the world!

Not only is this a Chinese supermarket - chaotic and well stocked - but it is a Chinese food court offering a range of fresh and flavourful Chinese staples quickly and at low prices. From the first stall which sells a wide range of meals, including staples like sweet and sour chicken and lots of noodles, next to the dim sum stall serving siu mai, har gau and massive plates of wonton in chilli sauce, you move on to get jian bing (Chinese pancakes) then congee and bibimbap and finally to the hot pot stall with a massive choice of meats, vegetables and delicacies to put in the boiling broth - a warning medium hot is probably too spicy for most so perhaps you should ask for mild! There is a row of slim tables and high stools at which you can sit to eat your food - mostly populated by Chinese students confirming how like the back streets of Guangzhou or Hong Knog this experience is. It's a bit addictive!

We ate at Chamber Thirty-Six for my partners birthday and it did not disappoint! We decided to get a bunch of small plates to share which meant we got to taste a range of dishes and each one was amazing. There was also the option when booking to add on some nutella spring rolls as a birthday treat which were super tasty and a lovely surprise to my partner.

INCREDIBLE. Super authentic hidden gem. Chinese students come here to dine, the staff are very sweet, and the portions are MASSIVE. We had the mixed dry hotpot, green beans, and hot and sour soup. I have a massive appetite for rice but I couldn't finish my one portion of rice, and we packed SO much to take home. Definitely come with friends so you can try loads of dishes. I WILL BE BACK.
