The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Chinese food

Saturday evening & when you can't be bothered doing it for yourself,no better place to call in than at Sunrise. We usually get a meal between us & no matter what i order it's always £10.50.. Usually go for q special fried rice,curry sauce & some prawn crackers. Always good & usually very quick service... Give it a try.

Easy to ring and book to collect. Food always great quality and can request personal taste requirements. Very friendly lady at the counter and enjoyable meal. Will always use this Chinese in future and recommend to everyone.

We ordered from the restaurant in February 2022 as it has a reputation for being one of the best chinese takeaways in the area, and we weren't disappointed - the ribs were some of the best I've tasted and the kung pow chicken was served with generous pieces of chicken breast and lightly toasted cashews - delicious! The owner was friendly and we had a nice chat while I was waiting for my food. There's no online website or menu currently but it's worth a look if you're in the area!

This Taiwanese restaurant is an absolute gem! The fish tempura (甜不辣）is incredibly authentic and takes me right back to Taiwan. The fried Man Tou （炸饅頭）is another standout—golden, fluffy, and just the right balance of crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Dipping it into condensed milk adds a delightful touch of sweetness. The overall experience was fantastic, with warm and attentive service. Highly recommend for anyone craving true Taiwanese flavors!

Siempre 10 de cada 10 no puedo contar cuántas veces hemos estado aquí para hotpot ahora es tan bueno. El personal es muy servicial si necesitas que te expliquen algo. Una cosa que mencionar es que hemos estado viniendo aquí años antes de que nos dimos cuenta de que podía tener mitad y mitad caldo y pusieron un divisor en su olla! Cambiador de juego siempre tomate y pollo para mí. Las opciones de tofu suelen ser mis favoritas aunque soy un consumidor de carne. El rollo de cuajada de frijoles secos es increíble y tarda segundos en cocinarse, ahora hacemos hotpot en casa regularmente usando ingredientes del propietario del supermercado One Plus que está al otro lado de la carretera. También compramos hotpots de autocalentamiento de allí que nos encanta ( buscar estos en YounTube para ver cómo funcionan es genial. )

Tonight's search for the perfect chippie took me to Lams, Carr Meadow Hey. I've got to ask why chippies seem to find it so difficult to make edible chips and Lams didn't disappoint. I ordered my usual meal of steak and kidney pie and chips, oh yeah I asked for a sausage for my dog. When I got them home and put them on the plate I can only say that the chips were awful, on a par, or even worse than Peep's. After picking out the crisps, bits and even chips still with the peel on I was barely left with enough chips to go on a small plate. On the plus side, the pie was nice. Oh yeah.... the sausage, the dog wouldn't touch it. The search goes on.

What a fantastic restaurant this is. Staff are so helpful and friendly even though they are so busy. The food was amazing could not fault anything. I mentioned it was our 39th wedding anniversary when I booked, and they were so good and gave us a bottle of wine. I was so impressed with the service, not just on this occasion but previous occasions too. Would most definitely recommend.

Love this place and have done for 5 years. We have now left the area and miss it so much. Thank you guys for the best chinese takeaway ever. The squid is INCREDIBLE

Just ordered for delivery via just eat. Very fresh and tasty sushi. Nicely prepared and delivered. Could have done with some soy sauce. Will be ordering again. Thanks

A quiet authentic hand-pulled noodle restaurant off the beat but well worth a visit. Delicious chewy noodles made fresh on site, with a wide range of topping options. I had the beef noodle soup with thick noodles, and paid another £2 for extra greens. The soup is super garlicky and fragrant, the noodles were perfect, and the beef and veg tasty and tender. I also added a dollop of chilli oil to up the spice. Even the small size option was a huge amount of food! I'll definitely be back for lunch again. Best Chinese around! No frilla inside but food is amazing

Terrible customer service. Paid for food over the phone by card. Said it would be 45 minutes. By 1 hour still nothing. Phoned to chase and said it would be 5 minutes. After a nearly 1 hour and 30 minutes of waiting I was told it has been delivered. I informed the girl it hadn’t but I felt she didn’t believe me. I asked for a refund and she was reluctant to give it to me. I explained I hadn’t received my food and it must of gone to a different address. I feel let down as I have been a loyal customer for years. Definitely won’t be using them again. Be careful when ordering and paying by card upfront!!!
