Mapo tofu and green beans were lovely. Wouldn't order the salt and chilli ribs again, very short cut up pieces that didn't taste great. Overall though great restaurant, and looking forward to return

Been going here now for a couple of years , whenever I want an authentic chinese meal. Took my grown up son and we have never been disappointed in the food there. We Had Roast Pork, House special Vermicelli , salt and pepper squid and sliced pork with leeks in black been sauce..it was delicious and very filling. we really enjoyed the food and relaxed atmosphere. We will be back (My son can pay next time !!) Gret meal thanks..

Best Chinese Restaurant I have ever been to! All dishes taste very delicious. The speed is also incredibly fast. The Service I loved, the boss came out and had a chat! I highly recommend guys!!!

Absolutely incredibly made food. I came in by chance because I drove past and saw so many people inside. I chose a couple of vegetarian dishes with the witness, and they were quickly prepared. A truly homely vibe and taste, with really reasonable prices. Solid large portions, most likely for sharing... I will be back sooner than they expect!

The best Chinese restaurant I have ever tried in UK, absolutely the best. As a Chinese I recommand this amazing place to everyone for the delicous authentic food and super good quality with really cheap price, besides, all the staff of this restaurant is so friendly, I will go back again if I visit Swansea next time.

The reason I gave this viol place a 0 is because when I went in the shop everyone was so rude to me except for this nice lady who wasn’t even a worker there… so basically I ordered spaghetti and noodles chicken and cheese but I got this disgusting cow pat on green noodles!!! I put I pic in the bio but I’m warning you unless you want a big pile of sloppy poo on your plate DO NOT GO THERE!!!!

Delicious towards authentic Chinese food. Pots of Chinese tea started our adventure. The Hot and Sour soup had lots of tofu strips, egg and vegetables and the Wonton soup was full of wontons and vegetables. Both were enormous and probably meant to be shared. The steamed chicken with ginger sauce was really tender and tasty and the Japanese sizzling tofu were little bean custard bombs of flavour. Be prepared for it all to be on the salty side though. Good value for money. Would definitely come back to try more dishes.

Delicious hidden gem of a restaurant. Customer service is family driven and is exceptionally friendly. The food is divine, and cooked with a tonne of love. Easily the best Chinese restaurant in Swansea, and the only place I feel comfortable leaving a tip. The beef ho fun is great, but the salt and pepper chicken wings are the ultimate dish here. They are a must-buy each visit. Be aware of small and sharp bones, however, and you will be golden.

Us as a local resident, we usually order from different places each times on our lunch break over the years, also including China Deli, but we’ve been ordering from here literally everyday in passing two months . Delicious food and quick delivery, decent price. Definitely Best in town by our own opinion right at this moment!

Visited for a birthday lunch, absolutely stunning food, served hot and well presented. Enjoyed by four of us, the spicy green beans were amazing, plenty of meat in the dishes and the king prawns with ginger and spring onions I would definitely recommend. 5 stars from us all.

Food was very authentic and good! The la zi ji’s flavour was so yummy and deep fried well. The salted egg yolk squid was nice and crispy and flavorful. You can never go wrong with the hot fish fillets~ and we tried their frog legs too which was not bad. Defo recommend for good chinese food

Turns out all the great reviews are spot on. Best Chinese food I've had for years, the sea bass in soy sauce and the salt & pepper squid were especially good. Large portions. We had pork buns, 4 mains, 2 rice and 3 soft drinks for £35. Superb.

I spotted that this café was full of mainly Chinese customers so I thought I’d give it a go Many of the dishes involved tripe in various forms beef tripe lamb tripe et cetera and all of the ordinary meals were enormous enough for two so order plate of rice and meat which is the single meal The menu is written in Chinese 1st to give you an idea

Always good quality genuine Chinese food. The China Deli is always full of Chinese students during term time, with locals fighting for a space in the evening. It's worth waiting for a table though, as the food is always good. Summer holidays are a good time to visit, but give it a go any time, the table turnover is normally quite good. They do deliveries as well.

Absolutely love this place, always my go to whenever I come to Swansea as the food is fabulous and very cheap in comparison to others! The seabass is a must try for anything seafood lover as well as there king prawn

Great authentic Chinese food. The sea bass was heavenly. Plenty of choice. Mouth water chicken is very tasty and a little spicy. Sweet and sour fish melts in the mouth and roast pork is so flavourful and has great texture with crispy crackling!

My wife and I visited this restaurant in early November with family who live in Porthcawl, about 30 miles away. My sister and I were both born in Hong-Kong and spent our early years there in the 1960's and 1970's. Eating in the China Deli and Cafe was like going "home" to HK for supper. Superb quality and fantastic value for money. The owners are extremely friendly and are very obliging with accommodating requests to vary some of the published dishes on the menu. We will certainly return when we visit my family in South Wales again.

This little place is a gem. The staff are friendly and willing to change things to suit if you like anything not on menu. The food is amazing, good size portions and very well priced. Won't get better Chinese food anywhere else.

This is a plain cafe, it serves proper authentic chinese food, the chatter all around you is chinese (sorry about that, I know there are numerous dialects and I must have insulted someone but you get my drift) and the feel is right. The menu is not huge but is well varied with nose-to-tail eating if you're up for it. The portions are pretty big, we (2 of us) ordered 2 soups and 2 meat courses. It was enough for 4. And when they describe it as 'fiery' you had better believe it. Plenty of chiilis scattered around and the food has a great depth of flavour. The crispy lamb was chilli-hot, sizzling hot from the fryer and the crispiest I have tasted. Won-ton soup was brilliant, the Hot and Sour was just as good, and very hot and sour. We got here by accident, it being a Monday lunchtime just about everywhere else was closed. Staff all cheerful and chatty and as busy as can be. And as for value, under £10 a head will feed you to bursting.

My son and I visited this place on an early Saturday evening. I can honestly say this is the best Chinese authentic meal I have ever had. Spicy chicken wings Beef curry boiled rice Chicken chow mein Frogs legs in a yellow bean sauce All brought out as soon as they were prepared piping hot What an experience Fantastic 11/10 😄

Had the duck, sweet and sour pork, beef in black bean sauce and frogs legs in yellow bean sauce. Off there again tomorrow. Third time this month.

We had the beef ho fun. There was ample amounts of tender beef and the noodles and veg were cooked to perfection.i also recomend you try the custard buns to finish off your meal.

After being refused for two other restaurant because of our guide dogs, we stopped to look at this restaurants menu when a young lady invited us in. The food is very cheap for the portion size and quality, one main is definitely enough for two people as we ended up taking lots home. For traditionally cooked Chinese food this is the place. As said in the previous review this place is nothing fancy but the food is amazing. Will be making this a regular for us.

Went here with friends who are regulars at this establishment ,a basic cafe but I must say the welcome and friendlyness of the owner was second to none. We ordered several dishes from the extensive menu all out dishes were fabulous and Piping hot,I personally had the braised pigs trotters fabulous,all washed down with lots Of Jasmin tea, a lovely lunch and extremely reasonable,we shall definitely return Another day. Weld one to the chef.

The venue isn't plush and its not located in the nicest of settings but what you do get is great freshly cooked authentic food, excellent sized portions, plenty of options even some you probably wouldn't want to try...all with friendly service. Bring your own alcohol, with a meal for 6 people costing less than £70 you can't go wrong. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

this is authentic as it gets in Swansea, delicious, freshly cooked food as it should be done, there are a couple of other restaurants like this, but the food I have had here is far superior. Fantastic value too

We tried this restaurant after a friend recommended it, must say we were not overly impressed, the food and service was ok but no better than the regular takeaways that we use.
