The best restaurants serving British food in Llandaff Cardiff South Wales

Very welcoming for family on a Sunday lunchtime, high chairs available. Best Yorkshire puddings I’ve seen in a long time! Staff were very kind, and service was quick. Pub was very clean.

We waited 90 minutes to be served one round of drinks and starters. The main courses arrived 15 minutes later. The staff could not give a tinkers cuss, and the place was not that busy. We asked for crayons for the kids, they never came. The server slid the food across the table with a disdain rarely seen , I think it was because we had the temerity to ask where our food was. By the time the mains came I was raging to the point where even if they had given me the food for free it would not be enough.

Lovely rooms, this stay we were at the rear of the hotel, which was much quieter than our previous visit but no view, our room that time was at the front, much noisier but looked out over the high street. My one tip would be to request a bath mat for inside the bath - I slipped and fell getting into the bath. All the staff we encountered were lovely and really helpful if asked anything.
