The best restaurants serving British food in Porthmadog West Gwynedd North Wales

I found this place while looking on tripadvisor before going to Porthmadog. It's tucked in just off the main street, to the left, just passed the Post Office. A nice welcoming place, lovely decor. Clear price lists and all the fresh produce on display in front of you. I ordered egg salad sandwiches ( made to order while you wait ), and they were huge, very thick bread. Absolutely delicious. I even went back later for tea and cake to take away, the victoria sponge was amazing and was put in a small box ( not just chucked in a paper bag ). Staff were friendly and helpful, they were busy, but it was still a nice, calm environment. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Superb sat evening meal, perfect location with the rooms very quiet. Staff at breakfast were very accommodating, all in all a cracking little place to stay, if you have thought about going get it booked.

£7 for a pint no thank you shall not be going back refuse to pay such ridiculous stupid prices

Lovely site stoped here for 2 nights very clean facilities. Close to town and lovely walks around the area. Staff very helpful. Will definitely be returning.

We had a very pleasant stay: the staff are friendly and helpful, our room was very comfortable, and the food is excellent.

Just ordered breakfast via the app. Wanted a particular drink so needed to go to the bar for this. Stood there for at least 10 mins by this time breakfast was freezing sat on table. Service ridiculously slow. Asked a lady who was free behind the bar if she could grab me a drink whilst there was a group of 6 in front messing around with their food orders. She was rude and said tough stand in que Over priced freezing cold food Asked to speak to manager. Still sat here waiting
