We booked here for afternoon tea to celebrate my friends 40th birthday, and it did not disappoint. One of the best afternoon teas we have ever had. Everything was so fresh, from the bread to the cakes. Service was brilliant, couldn’t do more for us. I am only disappointed that we do not live near to visit regularly, but next time we are in the area we will be back.

Bingo on Sunday was a last full of laughter and banter, well worth going from 5pm Sundays. Played all the games £2 each and came away with a lovely £60 win! They are also doing play your cards right at £1 a ticket Jackpot is £240 no one won on sun. Staff were lovely Paul and Lewis so friendly, great service and some great offers on too, there was also FREE food supplied to all the bingo players it’s something different every week, we will definitely be coming back for Funday Sunday it was very busy so I recommend getting in early for a table; thanks to the staff for making us so welcome and to Lyn and Dan for the laughs with playing the games definitely worth going out on a Sunday evening.

Worst service I have ever experienced in my whole life. Waitress was very rude and unhelpful. She appeared deliberately awkward and had an attitude. I am disabled and was struggling to carry walking stick bag and menu...I ordered a tea and said I would look at menu outside....I waited over 15 minutes but my tea never came or someone to take my food order. Eventually I stood at doorway and tried to get her attention....she ignored me and eventually I managed to get her to acknowledge me to which she told me to "sit down and wait'.....I sat down and waited and waited but she didn't bring my tea or take my order....there were only 4 people in the cafe. I became upset as I felt humiliated and upset that I was being treated this way. I picked my sticks up and left without receiving my drink or food. What a horrible way to treat your disabled customers. I was a visitor to the town on holiday but I won't visit that cafe again. awful.
